Vintage handle original to a Kelly Woodslasher

1&3/4lb. Modern Import, Collins Hatchet Head

After trimming down the handle to a usable portion, I shaped the haft to fit the eye and hung it

I gingerly, over days, removed the Kelly Woodslasher head from it's damaged handle to reuse and rehang them together

This woodslasher handle has been very weathered...

from prolonged exposure to the elements stores in an outdoor shed or barn

Having used a rasp to fit the haft to the eye

And cut in a kerf
