Saw this post (https://imgur.com/gallery/QKYRl5I) on the front page from @Xlxtx and decided to read more about the situation. This news article was the first thing that popped up in the results.

Can anyone explain to me why people are getting sent home from prison because of covid concerns and others aren't? I am sure there are SOME legitimate cases for this, but largely it seems like blatant corruption. Not being flippant - I legitimately want to know.

He's non violent, so I'd say transferring him to house arrest with electronic monitoring should work, then put him back in prison after.

Just learned about this piece of shit of a human being yesterday, read today's news aaaand he's gone. Stone-ish vibes over here

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Has anyone seen Frank Castle around? We kinda need him for shit like this.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The justice system in the US is about anything but justice.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Fuck this motherfucker and fuck the people who released him. Oh and just to throw one more on the pile, fuck you Trump.

5 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

Fuck him! Send him back!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How is he ever getting out of prison after ruining lives?

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The rich and powerful don't have to deal with the same legal system the rest of us do.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This is disgraceful. He is a monster.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This guy murdered the innocents of hundreds of kids. Throw him back.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Wtf? These high powered criminals get released from prison due to Covid 19. But it's safe enough for kids to go back to school.

5 years ago | Likes 75 Dislikes 1

Its bulsbit because they live cushy in rich prison compared to poorer non violent inmates in shit conditions who are at real risk.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We need a Punisher type scenario to happen.

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Wish the legal system had been as concerned about his victims health as they are about his.

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

This guy should be doing life, he ruined so many kids’ futures.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Someone should've offed him the moment that he got out of jail

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Its things like this that lead me to genuinely wonder if America is actually going to survive this. I mean half a million people dead,

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Your populus is going mental and rioting. Pestilence, Famine and War. All that's left is Death. Complete and utter death.

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Corona is death for the poor and a get out of jail free card for the rich

5 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 1

That's always been the case in America, Covid19 just made it so glaring that even the blind are starting to see it. (Not the gop though.)

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure the rich had a get out of jail free card for the past few years not just during corona.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Especially given how comfortable his cell would have been vs a poor persons. This was an excuse to release.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I work in a jail (albeit in Canada). We are releasing anyone and everyone we can to try to keep our numbers down. There are rarely good...

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Candidates. So we have to consider a lot of things (ex: public safety and housing). Unfortunately, this means that people like this scum...

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Bag are more likely to get released. They are less likely to reoffend and can actually take care of themselves instead of ending up homeless

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How's the collapse going, America?

5 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 4

just fine apparently

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Some fools would tell you it's going GREAT!!!!! not me tho, I'm scared and sad about things.

5 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Like shit. Looking to move to Canada or Australia. I have marketable skills! Please let me in! Pleeeeeeese!!

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Right on schedule.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Lefties like me are getting owned pretty hardcore. We wanted equity for minorities and they showed us by burning the US down. Marvelous.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Scary af

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

The thing is, Covid concerns in prisons are 100% percent valid. But the only reasonable response to that is to either release everyone or...

5 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

... completely revamp the prison system. Instead we're just selectively releasing heinous white collar criminals.

5 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

Seriously, if covid was a concern they'd release the guys busted with a few grams of weed, not the corrupt judge selling kids

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

You guys need to protest the blatant corruption in your country.

5 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 3

As if this sort of crap doesn't happen anywhere else in the world. Corruption doesn't have a flag.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Been doing that. Unfortunately, it just leads to more PoCs getting killed and put in jail and so on.

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

We've been protesting for a month now. What do you do when that stops working

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

persistence. Violence works against regimes, but 2/5ths of our population (mostly by age) really doesn't support BLM. /

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's too big of a problem for violence to solve; so you keep trying to get the 2/5 to see their own problem. (or just age out)

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We are, it unfortunately does very little to stop it.

5 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Our leaders said they should be tougher on protesters.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Because our leaders want to continue to be blatantly corrupt.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When they work, peaceful protests hold a mirror up to show oppressors how cruel they are. Then they desire to change that, so they do.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

When they fail... you get the CCP and wish you had been violent. I don't think it's really possible to know in advance which will happen.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Someone should [redacted] him.

5 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

New TV show idea: Trial lawyer, fed up with the system goes rogue, delivering justice to criminals. When he kills someone he says something

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

witty related to legal jargon like, "You've been... redacted."

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That's basically the plot of Daredevil, without all that pesky conscience stuff.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Innocent verdict... overruled."

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Acquit this [blam!]"

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fuck that guy, give him corona on purpose

5 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Takes a bed from someone more deserving. We're going to need those beds

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

no. We do not use disease as a punishment. Right and wrong are very squishy concepts to me, and even I know that's definitely wrong.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fair enough. Just don't use Covid19. There are many many more methods that hurt worse.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don’t give a fuck, justice must be served. Kids committed suicide cuz this guy ruined their lives so he could line his pockets. Fuck him

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It’s not about what happens to him; it’s about what we do. Someone once said “fuck those criminals, no free ride, make them work” ...

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

When do we start saying “fuck the prisoners, let’s test vaccine candidates on them.” And then one day... so we draw lines about who we /

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Will and will not become; and we don’t kill people with diseases.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Does anyone have a lead on a Death note? Anyone? Things would be a lots easier if someone knows a Shinigami that has a spare one to give to

Someone with morals to help with all the corruption. Isn’t the rules of the death note able to dictate what they do before they die? So all

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The crap people write “donates all wealth to charity, does good deeds for rest of life, dies saving someone else.” It’s be a start to good

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not quite, you can only control them up to 28 days before death.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hmm, that’s right. Well, for people of this level of crap, 28 days of good deeds is better than nothing

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That rule has to be within reason, though--would truly terrible, garbage people do good deeds? Also, a human that used a DN is cursed to 1/

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

become a shinigami, too. I wouldn't mind trying, though. 2/2

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Honestly how is this sick motherfucker even still alive. He destroyed the lives of thousands of kids, some who killed themselves.

5 years ago | Likes 338 Dislikes 9

It's so fucked up

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Paging Mr. Castle.

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well the good news is that he's probably under considerably less protection now than he has been. Just need someone to take the opportunity.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah I’m always surprised when I see shit like this and they don’t get popped. People kill people for less. That mom should grow castor bean

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Blunt force lead poisoning might be quicker, but I like your spirit!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because our justice system is paid for and our people are defeated cowards who kowtow to wealthy oligarchs

5 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 2

The entire political system is paid for. It's so fucked.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But how about those Marvel movies though? Would have never been possible without corporate consolidation. 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We don’t a working social welfare system and our youth are being sacrificed for war profits, but have you seen those Thor memes? Delightful!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I ponder this: there are societies that do better than ours in these matters, how did they get there? (to better)? can we copy them?

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Educate and vote. 2 good documentaries on it on netflix of Robert Reich.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The pattern usually goes: The workers in those countries faced hardship and held their leaders accountable.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I don’t know if we’ll ever reach a tipping point in this country, especially since corpo-controlled mass culture is designed to inspire 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

fear and reduce one’s sense of agency. 2/2

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So cancel culture and google workers threatening to quit over facial recognition? Those are the pillars of the path forwards?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Usually people sent home are non-violent criminals. I think its still bad though, but fortunatly I don't run the world.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 322 Dislikes 2

Well he spent 24 years in prison at least and I bet he got what he deserved...

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cut internet/cable and government checks, and this will happen. A few hundred thousand evictions might do it soon as well.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I'm beginning to think this maybe our only option soon here in the US. Except it should be Congress or the Whitehouse. Whichever

5 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

You mean senate

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I suspect they’re referring to the capitol building, but if they mean the legislative branch as a whole, congress works

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes, sorry.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

I think the proper course would be to burn down the White House after the current infestation

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Or all 3

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

not my country but i would be fucking revolting

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Not my country either. Is it possible to import some french people to get the americans going? Once it starts, it's like riding a bike IMO

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

They did help remove Tyranny from America once b4 they can do it again

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That is all we needed last time if I have my history right.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Can we start a go fund me to hire a pro footballer to kick him in the nuts?

5 years ago | Likes 253 Dislikes 3

If you are going to assault him may as well just cut his nuts right off with a rusty piece of metal

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I suggest Greg "The Leg" Zuerlein for the kickings

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Let's have a horse do it. Pay them in oats.

5 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

They can’t put book a horse on battery charges eithe

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

r

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just let the parents and kids take turns. Each kick would be weaker, but there would be hundreds of them. For hours. And it's free.

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Like... Hourly?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I really can't think of anyone I hate on a personal level more than this guy.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd throw in some cash.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd rather hire somebody like Ted Bundy to go to work on this guy's nuts.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes! Please!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Forget the nuts try the face

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I know a couple people we could call.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can we take from him the years he took from kids?

5 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

He doesn't have that many years left

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Big brain on brad

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Guess he'll die. Such a shame. How will we ever cope.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I’ll do it for free.

5 years ago | Likes 70 Dislikes 0

And my axe.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is this the line to kick that dude in the nuts?

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

?1

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah but then they might put you on trial for assault. Let us at least pay the bail fees for doing your civic duty.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'd pay you regardless.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Never do what you're good at for free!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yea, but your leg power doesn't compare to a pro footballer.

5 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

I played football for 9 years growing up and walk everywhere now, I don't mind giving it a go

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’ll do it for free and start training my right leg daily.

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

also the fund will be for the legal defence

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It’ll get the job done. I don’t mind having to do multiple kicks

5 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

I'll help.

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Can we start a queue?

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I'm guessing that all those in jail for marijuana possession offenses were also sent home, right?

5 years ago | Likes 742 Dislikes 5

AFAIK, many areas were supposed to release most or all of their nonviolent offenders and put them on house arrest or parole or something.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Jail From Home

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah. As well as rapists and murderers. It's really insane and has everything to do with is the judge on your case an activist. Oh also the

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

SC released a killer serving a 500 year sentence for literally the dumbest reason possible. How do you get a 500y sentence? Start by murder-

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

-ing babies by raping them to death like you're literally The Mountain, and it gets worse. That guy is free too.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Actually a good question... how many others, if any, were sent home from the same place? Down the rabbit hole we go...

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

If you find anything tell us.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yes, absolutely........

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What are you crazy?!?! Of course they weren't, those are "serious" "crimes"

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was in lowest security prison (called camps) with a large scale pot offender (8 year sentence) who was denied a furlough to attend his 1/?

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

only sons funeral. After they denied him (blanket denying all furloughs) they placed him on suicide watch for a month. That's solitary 2/?

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

confinement BTW which is in a 6 x 8 cell. Camps are open campuses with long house style quarters. It crushed him and those close to him. 3/3

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Right guys? *crickets chirping* ....guys?

5 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

Are you referring to the kids he put in jail, or people who are in jail for marijuana in general? If the former, the PA supreme court

5 years ago | Likes 193 Dislikes 0

In general. They shouldn't be in jail in the first place and should be released over virus concerns as well.

5 years ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 0

oh i agree, just wanted to clarify.

5 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

i mean that is great but really it should be federal. i think canada is working on pardons for pot offences .

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

state convictions need a state pardon or commute.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Non violent pop possession should just be wiped from record. Employers can judge on that even though its now legal

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

re visited the cases a few years ago it seems, and released (some, most, all?) of the people whom he sentences

5 years ago | Likes 110 Dislikes 0

Sentenced.

5 years ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 0

Except the one who shot himself in the heart

5 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

I am confused. Why is virus both serious enough to release these scums and also not serious to open schools?

5 years ago | Likes 2245 Dislikes 3

I kid you not I am currently looking into applying for residency in canada. Fuck America's Government. Sick of our oligarchy

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I mean at this point it's cash for kids part 2

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not everything is actually about the virus. Some people are just using it as an excuse to do the things they wanted to do anyway.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Money

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Money

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because fascism

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's not, they're only using this weird excuse they get all their mob friends out of jail.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s not the same people making these decisions.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Only white people.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If we can do Home Depot and we can do ??????? we can do jails.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Serious for me,not for thee"

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's a big ass world comprised of billions of different people who all act on their own in response to covid. The consensus is that covid

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

is a serious issue and people will use it however they can to benefit themselves.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

More Dead people = lower unemployment rate

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Profit > People, it's an American value.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You forget that keeping people in prison is profitable but keeping kids in school costs money.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I did not forget, you assumed. Everything in America is for "sale", children are no exception. Profit > People, and people don't care.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's all about draining the swamp. This is the part where you set all the swamp monsters free to terrorize again.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Republicans

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Children and tax payers don’t have quite enough money to lubricate the system.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because the curtains have been drawn for a while. They don't need justification for their corruption. They've been testing the waters bit

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

by bit for years, and it looks like US citizens will roll over for any corruption at all. The only thing that got them off the couch was

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

killing a man on camera. They've found the line they can't cross, anything else seems fair game. Buckle up, guys. I'm sorry.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because the US is a purely corrupt country. The people choose to tolerate corruption because stupidity, fear, and cultish loyalty.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm more interested how they're safer at home than in controlled areas with limited (and, hopefully, screened and investigated) visitors.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 9

Because the children have parents who are exposed to others. Eventually one will be exposed and then bring it to school exposing others.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I actually meant the prisoners, lol

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, reasonably they'll have less exposure to others in tight quarters so lower risk. But the special treatment is bullshit.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because rich people are better than us, duh.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

becaus pedo's protect each other

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

What?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Unlike many previous pandemic-threat viruses, the mortality rate vs age graph for COVID isn't U-shaped. Older adults are at much higher risk

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

My bad, writing a serious response to question that was apparently just meant to be hyperbolic / inflammatory. Nuance is dead.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also, sincerly fuck any grandparent stepping up to raise their baby's baby because of the damage the opioid crisis did to families.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And whats the average age of school staff in the US (checks) huh 46... with approximately 1/3rd of teachers less than 3 years from college.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So if we take out the 30% in their mid 20s... that puts the remaining average staff members age at... huh... 59, thats not high risk at all.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So. Teachers are expendable, as are administrators, janitors... but not connected white collar criminals that need to be protected.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

yeah yeah, I'm sure you're real 'confused' about it. Panderer

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

Or the virus is serious enough to release him, but not a vast majority of non-violent, low level, offenders.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A larger percentage of prisoners get infected than students.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wait you mean a larger percentage of prisoners in prison, got infected, while in prison... than students at home when schools were closed?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Reckon 50% of students wouldn't be infected even if they went to school.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But I may have to ask Sweden about that.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because the more money you have or dirt you have on someone the more importanter you is.

Because the further away in time the guillotines gets, the more brazen the bastards get.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because we need to protect our number one asset, corrupt criminals. They are the future.

No. Old Men. Old men are the FUTURE!

Id prefer this: do you willingly return your appropriated wealth to the workers who you exploited to create it? If no, gulag for you.

Because everything sucks, nothing makes sense, and 2020 is an abyss from which we cannot look away.

But can you imagine how much worse it would be if Clinton took office. I'm I right or am I 4 years too late on that hate train. /S

Call it what it is tho. republicans have been fucking america for decades and the bill came due with nothing in the bank but empty air.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If it doesn't make sense, then you are not part of the corruption circle.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is not the truth we want, but the truth we need.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The only sense it makes is for the very very wealthy and their friends.

Thanks Drew Carey/Aisha Tyler

I feel like I'm missing something here

Whose line is it anyway, where the points are made up and nothing matters, and the winner is chosen at random.

thanks, haha I was so confused but I get it now!

If this is what things are like with the swamp drained, I for one would like to fill the swamp back up. :-(

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Drained the fresh water and filled it with salt water. End of the day, the swamp is still a swamp.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

4/ Standard if the American Dream is really going to work. Anything else will lead to the corruption that existed under Communist Europe.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Rather than drain the swamp they decided to fill it with so many alligators there wouldn’t be room left for swamp

3/ Basically, any member of the justice system who has committed a crime based on their role within that system *must* be held to a higher

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Actually, thinking about it, he shouldn't be let out until everyone he sentenced has also been let out, barring proven violent offenders.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

No, no. You didn't need a conditional clause there. The total misery he's caused in years is vastly more than a single human lifespan.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

1/ The condition was for a minimum, and I stand by it, but love your improvement. My point was that the violent offenders were probably

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2/ likely to be people who would have been incarcerated by an impartial judge, and that they should require more review before release. 140c

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Agreed! Add those bullshit sentences together and he can serve the sum.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Because in jails, social distanciation, increased hygiene measures, masks, etc are not easily implemented.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 53

As expected, the only comment that is trying to give a serious answer is downvoted. Good job, Imgur..

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 14

He's right, but misses the point by a mile. Why not release all nonviolent minor offenses, then? Why are the president's friends and 1/

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

high-level white-collar crooks being released? 2/2

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Why aren't all pisoners that aren't violent being released? Litteraly no one has mentioned anyone getting released who wasn't high profile.

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Getting mentioned is the definition of high profile, isn't it?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Now if only we could get a federal response, and maybe many others would follow suit. Oh yeah, Trump only releases criminals loyal to him.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I suppose all inmates ages 65+ will be released?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Non-violent prisoners near the end of their sentence.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And school they are?

5 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 0

Well, yeah. Inmates can't wear masks, they can't be at 6ft from one another, they don't have access to sanitizing gel, etc...

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 44

Too fucking bad. Especially for this guy.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

All 3 of these things have solutions.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Considering how fast it's spreading in American prisons, I think we can rule out using any solutions.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In movies, there's always that one guy who tries to act like he's being reasonable as he helps destroy the world. In real life, that's you.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Nothing less than destroying the world.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

Given the school funding and kids behaviors, is it even practical to think that school can have reasonable precautions?

5 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

6ft, you can forget about it. The rest is just a matter of funding. Should be easily fixed, right?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 25

Schools have soap (I assume) not all Americans prisons do.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Teacher can arrange masks and soaps to kids like all other supplies, prisons would lose profit for doing that /s
