"Theory" is not a fact, it's a contemplative or rational abstract used to explain something. A fact can be proven.

Scientific Theory means something that is not LIKELY to be proven wrong. It doesn't mean it's a fact. That's my objection.

Nothing in science can be definitely proven. Hypotheses are not definitely proven. This is why there are no more "Laws" being written.

Missing the point. "Fact" is the term I disagree with because this is addressed to laymen. It's quibbling to make a point.
