Finally walked across this natural bridge on the Oregon coast. Steep hike, but worth it.

Looks dangerous! But also very beautiful.

6 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 0

It is. If I didn't live I definitely wouldn't move here. It's terrible

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Only dangerous if you’re rushing or generally being a reckless idiot. I’m sure eventually someone dangling off for a picture will fall.

I LUV our beach

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Me too! Very lucky to live in Oregon

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was there! PNW is unbelievable, so green and beautiful.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I feel so lucky to live here!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Holy smokes. I gotta leave Florida.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Come check out the west coast! It’s amazing here

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I want to. My friend lives in washington. I will go once I finish school.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe I should go outside sometime.

6 years ago | Likes 108 Dislikes 0

Nah, dude, this is how they get you. You start by going outside, next thing you know you're hauling tents to the middle of nowhere.

6 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Then you start thinking all those birds are real...

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Life changingly spectacular. Damn, nature.

6 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 1

Come on

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well, you had to be there...

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Did you intentionally wear the same jacket as Mikey?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I love these pictures!! Beautiful colors, was there a lot of afterwork involved in them?

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thank you! I muted out the blacks on the warmer end to make them softer looking. The sun through the fog is just so lovely.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Awesomely majestical, what Skyrim mod is this?

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

“Magestical,” you say... have you also seen The Hunt for Wilderpeople?

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don’t lie, I know you’re a Witcher at Skellige isles

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Damn, the Pacific Northwest is amazing

6 years ago | Likes 172 Dislikes 2

I hail from the PNW originally. I must say, these replies did not disappoint! All my family says the same stuff to folks not from the PNW

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can confirm. PNW is shit. Treat yourself and move to the SE.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's not don't move here, we're full

Or smoking weed.

6 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 3

Also yes

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No it isn't, and don't tell anyone that.

6 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 0

This is actually somewhere else. Oregon is super nasty, the people are shit and the food and beer suck. You'll really hate it. Don't come!

6 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

Yeah definitely no great beer or anything stay wherever you are

6 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Oregon coast is cool. Just not fun if you want to spend time in the ocean or on the beach. Lol.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A ton of the coast is amazing, large, open beaches with soft sand - not this rocky stuff. Definitely go for the beaches! (but not swimming)

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Been awhile. I just remember Rocky, windy and a bit on the chilly side. Lol.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Until someone f’s it up & sues the local gov’t for safety issues.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Someone always has to ruin it.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Stunning! Would love to go there one day

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Please do! Roadtripping the Oregon coastline is fantastic.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Is this where people die of dysentery

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A bit far south, but maybe the bodies and covered wagons wash up here.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Initially read that title as "Natural Bridge on the Oregon trail" and had to read title again ???

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

100% less dysentery here

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Looks like a precarious hike

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Very much so. Slow and steady.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Those Skyrim mods are getting ridiculous!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don’t fall it’s cold

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Close to Shore Acres?

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Nope

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

How to find ...

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Didn’t a guy loose his two kids and put him in the hospital last week out their?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same state, but not this beach. Ppl die on our coasts every year from not paying attention to the ocean. They think it’s California. *sigh

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Where is this, I need to know

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Southern Oregon coast between Gold Beach and Brookings. Called the Natural Bridges.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Where in Oregon? I’ll be up there this summer and am making a list of the trails I want to try!

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

How to find ...

Thank you!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Gotta love yourself some PNW scenery

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Always. :)

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm still dreaming of returning to the Vancouver/Victoria area for holidays some time. It's only some 5000 mi away in a straight line, lol.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Looks like Vampire Country...

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Dawnstar?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is that where One Eyed Willie was?

6 years ago | Likes 233 Dislikes 1

Seems like it

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You know where one eyed willie is....;)

6 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

The iconic shot of Willie's boat sailing away is Cannon Beach, Goonies house is Astoria and this is Samuel Boardman state park.

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Very possible... A lot of The Goonies was filmed in Astoria which is on the Oregon Coast

6 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

This is much further down, closer to California.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is it near Arch Rock?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is further south but the rock formations are very similar! The Oregon coastline is unbelievable.

6 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

What hike is this? I’m always looking for hard hikes on the coast.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The viewpoint is called Natural Bridges. The hike is short but very steep, narrow, and slippery. Cannot be done in/soon after rain (1/2)

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

(2/2) so that narrows down availability a lot. We saw several groups of unprepared ppl giving up on our way down.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What part of Oregon? That looks like it's close to Cape Blanco...

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Brookings

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure that's the coast... hurr!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How to find ...

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I HAVE BEEN THERE! Ex wife yelled at me cause she thought I was gonna fall in

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

We’ve looked from the viewpoint so many times — finally decided to brave the hike. No regrets!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What's it called? I love in Vancouver and want to drive down

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0
