My dogs love the vet. Lots of hugs and they get more treats than they know what to do with.

My cat crawled into the arm of my jacket (that i was wearing) up to the elbow after i put her down on the table, it broke my heart.

Took chiweenie to vets and miraculously she's no longer in pain, but prancing around like she's the picture of health.

my cat wants to get back into the carrier at the vet while only a few minutes ago she wouldn't want to get in it.

My husky must be retarded bc he's always so incredibly thrilled to be at the vet's office

That German shepherd's a giant!

My cat really couldn't care less about the vet. He's just like "Meh."

Vets are the devil

My dog ADORES our vet. Even the cats tolerate him.

The one floof was scared and the other floof was scared and the one was sad and and and WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ALL THE FLOOFS?!

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

It's ok later we're going to kill them and rape their dead bodies

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

So they won't die of parasites, cancer, or easily preventable infectious diseases.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I'm not entirely convinced that the cat behind the faucet is not mine.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

All these pets are whiny little bitches

Our 15-year old cat went to the vet two days ago. Had to be put down. I did not need this post.

My dogs get super anxious when they come to work with me because they know they have to stay in a cage all day.

My cat knows, when he sees the carrier. However,he doesn't mind,he thinks he is david bowie

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The smell probably has a lot to do with it.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Found the imgurian dog!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mine just bites the vet.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He's not sticking that up my heeello!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My dog is generally an asshole but for some reason he completely loves the vet. He perks up in the parking lot and everything.

10 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

I treasure the memory of Chloe the rat climbing up the vet's shoulder and peeing on his neck :) (Context: they scent-mark if they feel safe)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Our old dog used to try and pull dad into the vet when they passed on walkies. He loved the dried pig ears he got as treats for being good.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

My dog does as well! I think it's because they give him treats, and usually a small crowd forms and tells him how cute he is.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Mine too. What breed? Mine is a King Charles Cavalier- not often seen in my area so she always gets fawned over and spoiled.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I have big husky with heterochromia. His eyes tend to draw people in,and he loves people more than food, so his attitude keeps people around.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My dogs have always been happy to go to the vet - nice people give them lots of attention and they get treats sometimes.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

My cat loves the vet too. He had a grueling surgery there a few years ago, but he's still happy to go!

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Cooper did too! He tore both ACLs and had total knee reconstruction. Needless to say I'll never be changing vets.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My dog is the same. She doesn't care if they stick a finger up her butt. What she remembers is that at that place she gets TREATS!!!

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

My corgi just takes a huge dump in the vets waiting room to "welcome" other visitors...

HOW DO YOU HAVE A PET GIRAF---oh...

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I thought there was a Giraffe, and was confused for a second.

10 years ago | Likes 719 Dislikes 1

I have that giraffe..

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Opulence, I has it.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I didn't even see the dog. i was ready to scroll down and say "one of these things is not like the others..."

10 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

In the parallel universe where there was a giraffe, I up voted your comment.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I bet that was everyone's reaction. (Because it was my reaction, so it has to be everyone else's)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had to do a double take,I thought the giraffe was normal.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was like "awww" then I saw the giraffe and lost my shit.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

This giraffe REALLY confused the fuck out of me.

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

I... I didn't even question it. Why didn't I question a damn giraffe hiding from a vet? My god, what s the Internet doing to me?!

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

One of us

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My first thought when I saw the giraffe was how do people get their hands on exotic animals

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same here. Glad I'm not alone in this.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yup

my dog would hide under the chair behind my legs while at the vet. it was hilarious until he told us she had lymphoma and a week to live.

10 years ago | Likes 117 Dislikes 7

Wow that took a turn...sorry to hear that

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That,,,, scalated quickly

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I read this first as your dog said your vet had the lymphoma. Then I read it correctly and got sad for you.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

.-.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Ayy lmao :(

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I thought this was going to be an uplifting comment...

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

sorry. if it makes anyone feel any better, it was cool remembering how much a chicken she was at the vet.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

that sucks

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What the fuck man

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

This is... this is not how I wanted that story to end...

10 years ago | Likes 79 Dislikes 1

me either, friend.

10 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

it's okay now, though...right?

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

well, she died about a week later.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

oh no, i'm sorry :(

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They can smell the death.

10 years ago | Likes 124 Dislikes 8

no.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

creeepy

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

''Hold meh.''

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

As a former vet tech and having had many fuzzy roommates, I would say that some are affected by death and others are not and in between.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

How very precise

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

God, now that I read it. Lots of words but ended up saying nothing.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've read before that death doesn't bother cats and dogs. They'll miss their friends eventually, but they can't grasp death like we can.

10 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 4

Don't know about cats to be honest, but dogs, cows, pigs, horses do.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or maybe they can smell disease..

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've read that if you have two pets and one dies. You should let the survivor smell the one that passed away so they know they're dead.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

We do this with our horses. As emotional and intelligent herd animals, they do grieve.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thats what we did. And my grandpas dog when my grandpa passed away.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Look up video of.dogs literally crying over dead friends or owners

10 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 7

Could you possibly provide a credible source regarding a dog's ability to cry? I wasn't aware they could cry like humans or elephants can.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

they don't.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Also I'm on mobile so I can't

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

It's not possible to determine if elephants cry as a direct result of emotional distress

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 6

Liquid streams from their temporal glands under all kinds of stress; positive or negative. It doesn't originate in the eyes like in humans.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

They touch and inspect the bones of their dead in a way that suggests understanding. It's unique behaviour to this situation.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Elephants have been observed mourning for their companions and even return to visit the places they passed away at.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They don't cry, not like humans do. The common video of the dog doing that is hyperventilating, not crying.

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

No not that 1

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

if you are talking about the husky video it is reverse sneezing.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yeah, your right. Was trying to post between customers and couldn't think of the name.
