I worked with the vet lab at the local uni. We got mouth swabs from a dozen students and a dozen dogs. Then grew cultures in a petri 1/2
Dish. Every time the dogs samples grew less bacteria
(2/2) their teeth brushed anywhere near as much as humans. Also, because dogs don’t live anywhere near as long.
