9 Supermen,

8 Batmen,

7 Spidermen,

6 Wonder women,

5 Hulks,

4 Captain Americas,

3 Thors,

2 Cyborgs.. BUT,

there will always be only 1 Wolverine..

and only 1 Iron man.

I like comics a lot and I don't really prefer any of the characters over the other, nonetheless those two actors truly did act their roles perfectly. Specifically, 48 year old Hugh Jackman!

First actual attempt to post something and stop lurking. Be gentle..please?

FP Edit: Wow glad that you people liked it! ♥ thank's for the FP ride! Last time I checked I had 38 upvotes and I was happy about it!
Oh and send me anything comics related or anything nice

I'm collecting info for another similar post

I'm going to say it. I've enjoyed Cavill's Superman the most. FUCKIN' COME AT ME.

I only count 4 hulks...

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Played by two actors in the 70s.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hulk was played by 1, Bruce banner played by another... still only 4 hulks

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well if you're gonna get nitpicky, Bill Bixby would be half of the transformation scene, with him going green and his eyes changing colour.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So he was played by 1.25 actors.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fine... 4.25 hulks. If you round, that makes 4 hulks

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Edward Norton was so good as Bruce Banner.

9 years ago | Likes 192 Dislikes 3

And you know what? Fuck it. I liked the Ang Lee version. It ain't my favorite but I had fun.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Saw it only couple years back with no expectations and yeah, it was alright

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I dug that movie! It showed off the deep, smoldering anger in Banner.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I thought Ang lees version was better in nearly every way except being a hulk film it needed a villain he could smash

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I agree.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mark Ruffalo is good but I liked the design of Norton's hulk better.

9 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

ruffalo doesn't sell me on banner. he's not nerdy looking enough

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

More human and less monster.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I only count 4 hulks in that picture?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The first 2 are the same guy, no?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In the original series Bill Bixby played David Banner and Lou Ferrigno played The Hulk. Ferrigno also lends his voice to every movie Hulk.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In one of the old shows, there was an actor who played Bruce Banner and another played Hulk. He should have said 4 Bruce Banners

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yea, but Lou is the best hulk.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I thought I was the only one that liked him and that version of the hulk.

9 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 1

From my understanding they asked him back for avengers but he wanted to help write/direct and threw a fit because they said no.

9 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 1

Sounds about right. He demands creative control on his movies. Usually works out, but no way that was happening in a movie like avengers

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Would have ended up with a Birdman-esque Age of Ultron. I would not mind that.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That movie was under too tight of control. The just wasn't room for Norton's style along side RDJ's iron man

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Same. Really likeable as Banner

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Edward Norton is good as anyone.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Except isn't Hugh Jackman quitting as Wolverine? So there's going to be a new one, no doubt.

9 years ago | Likes 245 Dislikes 6

I think that's the point of the new Logan movie. I'm pretty sure they're replacing him with the kid.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I nominate Tom Hardy

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Make Nick Offerman the Wolverine, and I'll buy every single one of those films.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He's getting too old to be wolverine.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It was supposed to be. But now he seems to backtrack just a tiny bit after Ryan Reynolds said he wanted a Deadpool-Wolverine film.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, Idris Elba is supposed to be the next Wolverine

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Mark my words he'll be in Deadpool 2.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As Hugh Jackman. Unaware of his Wolverine role. Only talks about Les Miserables

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's Deadpool. If Jackman is himself, DP will bring Movie 43 up.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The girl in the trailer is going to, she's a clone of his named X-23.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

His wife said that she was gonna leave him if he didn't make this newest movie his last.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

this is the main reason why I had to post this

9 years ago | Likes 112 Dislikes 1

I just hope they give him a worthy successor.

9 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

I nominate Michael Cera as successor.

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

I was thinking Shia Labeouf

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"Oh geez, that's me, bub." Michael Cera as Wolverine, probably.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I'll think they'll pass the Wolverine mantle, not Logan, to someone else. Maybe X23 from the future. Xmen and time continuity...

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Then Fox will make a co-distribution deal with Marvel a la Spiderman, after which Marvel will reboot the franchise with all new actors (2/2)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think what's actually going to happen is that Fox's non-Deadpool X-Men films will continue to do mediocre-to-poorly in the box office(1/2)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I thought Apocalypse held its own despite poor reception by the public and critics... ?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think LOGAN might tease X-23 as his successor

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes, this has been said several times in these comments. But it is still likely that disney won't give up wolverine

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

as wolverine is one of marvel's all time favorite characters

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fox... The movie rights are property of Fox

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

X-23 probably right? That seems to be the direction that Fox is taking

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Oh god I hope so. Laura's All New Wolverine is really interesting, but I don't think it would work with the movie timeline. All the 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2/2 recognizable heroes they have would be dead, they'd have to start with new heroes, and that's a big risk.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

At this point x men universe is a galaxy of its own within a black hole with each movie being its own sub universe

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Really? Alright, in that case I'd love to see Laura take on the mantle. She's great

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

x23

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lora(x23 ) is taking the mantel

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

plus, i'll never accept his height. in the comics his character is shaped by his height and always discounted physically by others.

9 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 7

He's also very ugly looking. Beastly. Not like the tall handsome man HJ is.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Id argue jackman was a weird looking mfer in the first xmen

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

handsome? dreamy... and i'm pretty sure although Wolverine is the best at what he does, he's no triple threat i.e. can't sing and dance.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm not sure whether you're joking or not. But Jackman is a Broadway star as well, so he can do all those things.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yeah, i'm joking, HJ is the triple threat, which isn't required to play Wolverine.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah but Wolverine in comics is also 195 pounds(not including adamantium), at 5'3 thats packed muscles.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

True, isn't wolverine supposed to be around 150cm? Jackman is like close to 190.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

5'3" in freedoms, he's 6'2" or something in real life

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

yep. they don't even try and make HJ look average height, he's a unit. comics Wolverine is a nugget. bit of a shame. textbook hollywood.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

I think they made James Marsden wear lifts so he could be closer to Jackmans height. Also when they could they made Jackman stand in pits.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

needed bigger lifts, say Tom Cruise's apple box and deeper pits.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It'd be pretty cool if they'd at least make the next actor closer to 170cm. I can understand there aren't many buff actors around 150cm.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

they can make tall actors look short and vice versa. they chose not to in this case, just tossed that aspect of Wolverine for aesthetics.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Tom Cruise is exactly 170cm.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's a strange stance to make. You don't "accept" it? Of all the things those movies butchered, that's where you make your stand?

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

IDK maybe he has a Napoleon complex, however, no one stated that this would be the only thing wrong about the films.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

when the post is talking about actors in roles i think it's entirely reasonable to focus on that aspect in my comment. pretty simple stuff.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

yeah, its difficult to be scared of a guy who's 5'2-5'3. But a guy the size of Hugh Jackman, even without claws is scary

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

yea thats not gonna be as big a sell, especially not to people who doesnt really know the series.
