It was a good shot from that distance on an elevated platform so he's got range experience and definitely tuned his scope for that range, then disappeared in urban environment like a delta seal in civilian mode, he trained for this. How many leftwing civilians you know go to gun ranges to practice or capable of these feats without military training. Left wing individuals usually dont enlist.

I am. I was raised shooting in competitions. Raised hunting. It doesn’t require amazing toolkit, or skill set. The social engineering would be the most difficult part. You could practice for the shot in an afternoon.

How do you sneak a rifle on a rooftop and sneak it out after the shot and disappear. They didnt even find a casing, he took his bullet shell with him and dipped back into society. Thats asking alot for things not to go wrong. He's versed in his rifle and confident with his shots. Civ or mil, he has a history with rifles. His ability to disappear makes me think military. He would know where they would look and what radio channels to tune into for a clean escape. This was CIA or skilled civilians

It takes a second shot to echo locate a shooter’s position. A bolt action rifle does not eject the casing until you manually eject it by opening the breach to load a second round. Then you unscrew the barrel, tuck both pieces into a book bag, or a sack of garbage. You dispose of it on the way out. You dress, and act like someone who belongs there. You file into the panicked crowd unarmed.

Doesnt it need to cycle in order to unscrew the barrel? I cant recall if you can leave a bullet in the chamber and able to dismantle the rifle. I wonder what his window was for how many seconds he had to disappear. From trigger pull to disassembly to discarding to blending in all while exiting a facility from the rooftop while not being seen, thats gotta be 3-4 min before security starts clearing the building. Not impossible but man thats tight. This is not his first rodeo thats for sure
