That rhododendron is bonkers
AprilSpectrum
#33 he's climbing the stairs!!!!
meggie4usall
#26 who is this lady and where is this amazing rhodie?
Onsvaltti
Yay, plants!! Few of mine are dying and I'm like "fine!! Go on and die because you HATE ME"
atomicsockmonkey
I love that the pillbug is actually using the tiny stairs. Also, they missed out on using the "What is this? A building for ants?" thing.
KingKelloggTheWaffleHaggler
I want to grow plants. But I forget they exist.
poopknifeMAN
My friend has a sick food forest. Now I have memes for him.
awkwardllama
....who is planting straight in the pot. This is what nursery pots are for. So you can rearrange all the aesthetics by swapping pots
lordofthegoats
Free tip for pots. With the proper drill bit, E.g. a diamond grit hole saw for a clay pot, you can make any pot into a pot with drainage.
usernamemustbe4characterslonng
So we’re not gunna talk about #6?
vegivamp
#4 well that's a nice houseplant.
WonderfunkJones
Where TF did plant memes come from?
Imrqange
#32 Paige really has grown out.
SedatedSl0th
Yeah well I keep killing my indoor basil somehow and it’s super frustrating. I’ve spent nearly $100 USD and had to chuck them.
umbrellamaker
#11 I'm definitely sitting at a 4 right now
Grimmrog
a friend: I planted salad. Me: which one? fried, Just salad. me later: I made food, friend: which food? Me: just food.
anarchivist
I wonder if my husband refers to me has his "hippie ass wife" ?
o4kill
Ask him to send the meme to his friends, then you'll know the answer is yes! Acheivement Unlocked!
DrProfessorRocketSurgeon
#1 A dremel can make virtually anything a pot with drainage...
BojanglesTheFlyingCar
Ones without drainage are great for propogating cuttings
PezHead13
Diamond bit and a steady hand even in a drill gets you through glass. Dribbling some water makes me feel better too
ThomasThundersword
I’ve used a Masonry bit (and a lot of water as both lube and medium) with good success before on trick glass like old wine bottle bottoms>
PezHead13
Nice; my real go-to is those^ with a drill press. Towel under to dampen vibrations, and a small weight on the wheel for even slow pressure
ThomasThundersword
water both help cools and suspends the glass in a slurry, which always -seems- to help. tho that could be wishful thinking.
sirfanciesadrought
Never thought i was gonna come across a plant dump.
FormerlySable
What bush have you been hiding under? OP has made the front page with a dozen or more plant meme dumps! ?
sirfanciesadrought
Ah bush!
Niddhoger
God #1 pisses me off. I've been tricked multiple times by stores selling plants in two pots... outside pot, holes, inside pot, none. 1/2
Niddhoger
So if I'm not paying attention, I think everything is find after placing a saucer under it. A few months later... root rot. 2/2
Ludwigofthepotatoppl
#15 is fertilized by farts, don’t give it too much at once or you’ll burn the roots
prakashcs1
Great dump
NatureNerd102
So glad to hear I can blame my dying calathea plants on something other than my brown thumb.
YogurtUK
#4 What video is this from? Or pls provide a link. Asking for a friend. ?
BubblesTheFish
I think crazy plant ladies are only behind crazy cat ladies in their devotion to their obsessions, at least on Imgur.
WaterUnderTheRocketAppliances

I'm on FL but sadly do not know the provenance of that image. I am familiar with said rigging / position, however. Also: Yum.
EmptyHouseBurglar
Suspended balltie, could maybe be suspended crabtie, I've heard it referred to as dewdrop... Any other terms not to Google? ;)
Gradvic6
The plant there is commonly called Veronica... Specifically the Veronica avluv
anders1809
NotTheSameAnymore
#2 gotta be a hungry cat to chase something with talons and strength
Rifneno
Ostriches are criminally underrated. They're what people think cassowaries are, doubled.
TheHappiestQuack
I always assumed an astride had the dexterity of a drunk dude in heels though? No?
NotTheSameAnymore
I had to go check. Everything in Africa will try to eat the ostrich. But it can kill even big cats with it's kicks and 4 inch talons.
VitaminJay
I have questions about #4...

What do you want to know about that Veronica plant.
Shikyo
+1 for Avluv ?
coloredgreyscale
Ask away :)
RabidDingo
Where's the rest?
IWasACatAllAlong
At the plant store.
tilerd
Plant memes always tickle me right in the calathea. Then I die.
ElbowDeepInAJedi
*immediately starts watering you anyway*
TheHappiestQuack
I got that reference.
WTT24
Never heard of calathea. Googled it. One of the results was "Why is my calathea dying?" 1) Overwatering. 2) Underwatering. So... good luck!
ElectricNoodle
That's like every plant ever
awkwardllama
If you have a calathea that is thriving, DON'T MOVE IT
johnwilliamsistheman
I had a calathea that looked amazing when I got it. I thought it died, so I moved the pot to plant something else. Calathea resprouted
LapsisBeeftech
I think humidity is a major factor too. Oh and light.
LapsisBeeftech
Anyone had luck growing them? Literally just bought one yesterday ?
HelloMeowster
I bought mine last year and it had 4 leafs until like april.. full of leafs now
LapsisBeeftech
Got any advice?
HelloMeowster
Honestly I dont know, just don't give up hope if it loses most of its leafs
ChimeraOfFury
my ornata hates me, but my roseoptica is lovely and fine. guess it depends on the variety.
AllieRiot
A plant store gave me one cause they burnt it to hell and after 4 months and all new leaves its super healthy!
LapsisBeeftech
Any tips?
AllieRiot
Yeah! I have all my calatheas in my bathroom, so high humidity. They also get actually quite of bit of (diffuse) light.
toctheyoungest
Put it under the shower like once a week, spray it down with a bottle every other day. Not an expert but mine's survived for a year
AllieRiot
Also the window I have is south-facing, but filtered. And I have a couple plants shading the calatheas from any intense light. Good luck!
