Spiderman hoodie at the ren-fest though, on point sir.

I have never been more uncomfortable in my life.

Does this count as black-face?

To be fair, a hot girl might pull that off just fine.

I'm not certain if they're either.

I've seen this porno before...

Janka looks nice... give her a shot!

You can't hide for long.. .RR MARTIN!

And ren-dog for tax.

Remember, they're just people having fun, no need to be so serious!

This saddens me.

There's things I probably wouldn't do, but if people are enjoying themselves, why not just let them have fun.

Just went to the Ren fair in Colorado springs. Saw some great costumes

Even as a nerd when I see this...

What's with all the damn furries?!?!

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

"Playtrons". They dress up and interact in character, which can be fun, but sucks when the other guests thing they are legit workers.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The number of obese women in nothing but chainmail is always too damn high

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 6

I think i want to kill myself now.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

I used to live in Texas about 20 miles out from Ren Fest. I miss it a lot.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's quite a collection

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You should see my lightsabers ;o

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd rather hang out with weird people at a renfest than insecure people who make fun of them though....

You said it!

#5 Space Pants!

Haza a few hundred pounds for the king.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just.. so.. so many thoughts.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That wasn't blackface. Dark elf. Kinda like cosplaying Peter Pan's shadow.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Holy shit #7 is actually my uncle

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Furries and stormtrooper shitelves at a ren fair? Entitled twats.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Spiderman I get, but what do furries have to do with the Renaissance?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

With all the animals and smoke they hope people won't notice their smell.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

#2 the girl is like "oh god. they're taking pictures. Please, no. All I got out of this was the dress. Come on man."

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Some of these actually aren't bad, but come on, furries. At least be a dragon or SOMETHING medieval.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This looks like the one in Arizona. I went last year, just seems to be getting worse and worse...

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Was looking for someone to say Arizona. But yeah, more furries every year. I don't get it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Janka is a dumbass, half of those aint even gods.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Not to mention mixing Slavic, Norse, and English mythologies. Get it together Janka.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Precisely :p, RP's fine but at least try to have a tiny bit of sense in your bullshit :p

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

#1 - so many "layers".

8 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 2

That's the photo sent to my BFF to ask if we can add a Renaissance Fair to our US Road Trip itinerary.

Hog-furry in the back

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

@OP is this the Texas Ren Fest?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I could swear it looks like Kansas City. Haha.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought it was North Carolina

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#1 is in Arizona

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Furries at Ren fest? I gotta believe they'd get boiled in oil in the real Rens

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 4

Rens? It's not hard to spell Renaissance. I guess it is for you...

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 29

Wish they could be boiled in 2017 :/

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

At least one of these is my local ren fest. ????

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Sherwood?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I recognize the entrance from the first one. And I'm not surprised in the least

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The entrance looks like the on in KAnsas City, so they must build a lot of them similarly.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I *REALLY* need to get 3 people to do the SG-1 shtick and hit a ren fair...

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I could do Daniel Jackson. I think.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sweet! Don't kill yourself for it though... :D

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

why not star trek?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because Starfleet has strict non-interference directives for lower civilizations. The SGC didn't give a shit & went to friggin Camelot! :D

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Had the same idea and i would love to, but im pretty sure we live far apart

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Haha, just a weee bit!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm all for the time period/mythological cos-play. I could do without the furrows showing up and taking over everything.

8 years ago | Likes 80 Dislikes 3

Those damn furrows!

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Am I the only one who realized you meant us "furries?" I'm so confused now.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They were all just making fun of me because of the typo

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was going for irony based on my username cx

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've never seen them at any ren fest I've been too yet, and I go every year to local and MN/IA when I can.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

This is at the Texas R. F. in southeast TX. it's like the Super Bowl of Renaissance festivals, complete with nutters and LOTS of fat people

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hmm, I'll be happy to miss a festival with nutters and fat people in the heat of Texas.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

*and mosquitoes and mud

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ren fairs are not some sort of cosplay joint If you don't want to fit the theme then don't dress up! Furries and storm troopers don't belong

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 2

Hey, trekkies are hillarious

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean, the centaur is okay in my books. The fox is ... close. IMO furries are okay *if* they dress with a medieval fantasy theme.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I've seen the centaur take his ass off and drag it behind him after hours. It's pretty funny.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The centaur's cool (kinda). But the furries all have modern clothes on. I thought the Fox might be wearing a kilt but I think it's a girl.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm not really sure tbh. They could be going for a "traditional Scot" style, like but need more accessories

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What theme? You mean the medieval theme labled after a diferent part of history, neither of which are US history?

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Fitting the theme has nothing to do with historical accuracy. Ren fairs aren't a place for cosplay. It's a thematic event.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Dressing up isn't required. But if you do, don't wear an outfit made out of colorful tape while carrying around a big ugly purple sword.
