FYI: the two different, multi-colored socks still did not prevent me from noticing that your big toes are substantially longer than the rest

Almost looks like the tire isn't seated on the rim/wheel correctly

It's takes time to understand which way moves when tightening.

It's not hard. Truing stand helps. I'd say go for it.

I tried this once. All that happened was delayed how long bike was off the road (fixed by a pro)

I do it myself not hard once yiu get it down. I do have a truing stand to make it easier. But if it's bent there is only so much you can fix
