I haven’t sculpted in two years.

My ex literally told me I couldn’t make art anymore unless it sells and kept trying to get me to make more things that sold. I never wanted to own a business. They kept telling me we were really poor. Turns out they were blasting the money and cheating on me and took all of it (that was meant for a house) and got a house with the person they were sleeping with. I felt like I lost my love for art. I couldn’t make what I wanted because I had to make all these orders that sold instead. (Granted people kept asking to buy them and instead of saying no I was expected or guilted into doing it.) then after the split it just made me depressed because my art is why they started loving me and it made it bitter. I got sad. I no longer had inspiration. I felt defeated. ………then one day I made this. I love this. It’s not much but after two years it really brought a strong flame for art back. I’ll eventually post the final product as it’s a three piece thing but this? I really wanted the world to see this. It’s hope. I hope everyone feels how I did rediscovering myself. It’s amazing.
