Matt the Radar Tech!

Here's my custom Matt Pop! Box and original figure mockup/design by me, figure constructed by my brother.

"Hi, I'm Matt. I'm a radar technician."

Side by side comparison. Still need to figure out exact measurements/placements of stuff on the official boxes to make it more legit.

Zee side.

Top's one of my fave parts.

Here's the back. Names blurred cos reasons.

I ended up making all the bottom details, cos it felt wrong without it. Barcode unfortunately got all glubbed up. Ah well.

Chillin' in his box.

Chillin' with the boss.

"Dude, Matt straight up sucks!"

Too many pictures.

Thanks for looking!

Was this 100% custom or was there a source pop you built off of. If so, which one and why? I couldn't have been that Rey, right?

We were originally going to use Brian Johnson's head, but couldn't find him, and went with Peeta instead, which ended up working out great.

^^ He's got bits stolen from three different pops, with the base body being Nien Nunb. Essentially just inverted the colors on it.

c: Replied! If end up wanting to make your own instead, I can link you to my bro's blog, where he has details on the choppy chop of it all.

Thank you for sharing. Was this sculpted analog or digital?

I made a photoshop mockup first, then we cannibalised a couple folks for the final. I used the photoshop pic to base my illustration off of.

( XD I hope that answers the question? Not quite sure how one would sculpt a folk digitally.)

Thank you OP, most impressive. I thought it might have been 3d modeled and 3d printed. Very clean looking.

Ooh, that would be awesome to be able to do! Alas, my printer is not of that caliber.
