I was able to fit the Costco quilt in the pa'lante bottom pocket. Granted, there was nothing in the main body, so I wouldn't be able to acheive this if the pack was fully loaded, but I was impressed.

Just my Costco quilt and montbell anorak inside the main body. I rolled the extension collar as far down as possible. No compression at all.

I fully compressed the front and side compression straps just to see how small it could go. I'd never do this but I wanted to see what it looked like. Still just my quilt and anorak inside.

The person extra long slack on the side compression cord. I will likely cut this off.
