I had to take a stray that I took in for two weeks to my local dog shelter because I don't have the time or finances to care for him properly. I'm not a monster so I chose to be notified if he ever came up for euthanasia, but I still feel horrible about leaving him. If anybody is looking for a dog in middle TN, Charlie can be found at the Williamson County animal control center.

I know it sucks and I know it hurts, but you did the right thing. That dog is cute as hell and I would be shocked if it doesn't get adopted.

You're not a monster. You took in a stray but, being unable to properly care for it, you took it to a shelter where it may be adopted.
