Our UPS guy hasn't even knocked for the last six months, how do I get this kind of service from Amazon?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I now want delivery ninjas.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Amazon has delivery drivers?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's a nice looking Japanese Maple.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I dont know why but when she turned the camera to her face it scared the absolute shit outta me.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

leaving stuff on the door is a bad idea it shows you are not home

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I live 300 meter from the main post office, but when they can't deliver my package, they put return it to a post office 2 km away. :P

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I would have written "Look Up" and then dropped the package from the roof

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We put a deck box on our front porch. Hides the packages and keeps them dry when it is raining.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Look, dawn.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes because thieves can't read. Yes.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Most people would recognize that as an i missed you and not even bother to go read it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Amazon guy: im doing a good deed. Tossed package in to the shrubs.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

hahah nice

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Read it as Love Dawn first

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's my kind of courier! Gets shit done

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wash your door, and trim that poor Japanese Maple.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

give that man a raise!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Look, Dawn!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Guess thieves can't follow an arrow to the bush?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The thought is they wouldn't come up to be able to see the writing since there's no package visible to steal.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Look dawn

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have the save thing with Amazon. They put it in a recycling bin

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In the UK, our Amazon delivery drivers put the note through the letterbox (can't be seen by thieves) saying it was handed to a neighbour.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

If you don't have a door slot they can't legally leave anything in the mailbox here. So most places stick it to the door.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

and then you also get a notification

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Give it to the neighbour to hold onto. This is so British, I love it.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

As a nation, we generally don't tend to steal from people who live next door to us. So it works.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Better than having it stolen I guess

8 years ago | Likes 914 Dislikes 6

problem is thieves know this too

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Got husband an expensive telescope for his birthday. Delivery people just left the box right on the front steps. No note. Bastards.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Good in my book

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Question: If your package gets stolen, who's picking up the tab?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's the company who you bought it from, if it's reported that same day of getting the delivery notification.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The only time the carrier foots the bill, is if they lost it in transit and the package has insurance.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Delivery guy was nice enough to hide it.

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Do you actually have any proof?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You can call his mom for reference, but she might be biased.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Plot twist, this is the guy who stole it videoing it

8 years ago | Likes 130 Dislikes 0

I'm not sure why they put their expression in the video at all, Pouty Frowny Duckface didn't add much to the story

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That is a really feminine looking guy

8 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 1

You need a good disguise if you're going to steal stuff.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't impose your gender stereotypes on the rest of us.

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

*TRIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGERRRRRRRRRED

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Our delivery man isn't nice enough to leave a note. If it doesn't fit behind the storm door, it gets chucked in the shrubbery.

8 years ago | Likes 403 Dislikes 2

Canada post just comes up, doesn't knock or ring the doorbell and just leaves the note saying to come pick it up.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It belongs to the woods now

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Found the knights that say Ni!

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

My delivery msn left 800 dollar desktop outdoor. I was in home all day, but he didn't even knock before deciding to drop it there.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ours is awesome. Intelligently places it visible from front door but not from street. I tipped him big for christmas... i think.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

At least it gets delivered. USPS here says "can't fit in letter box, try again later", then won't let me go get it, sends it back to sender.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

This happened to me so many times! And I work from home so I'm almost always home. USPS doesn't even bring the box on the delivery truck, 1

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Just leaves a card in the mailbox to come pick it up. So I no longer order anything that will be delivered USPS. The rest of the delivery 2

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Services now know to leave the box at the door or on the patio, they don't usually bother ringing the bell though. 3

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ours get put on the front porch in view of the street, without even a knock to let us know.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We want.. A SHRUBBERY!

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

NI!

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Ni!

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

We are no longer the knights who say Ni. We are now the knights who say Ekki-Ekki-Ekki-PTANG. Zoom-Boing. Z'noicantremeberhowtospellthis

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Awesome

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wow there's like five ways in this sentence alone that tell me you aren't American.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Actually, I'm from Wisconsin.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Close enough to Canada.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is her name 'Dawn' or the delivery msn can't spell 'down'?

8 years ago | Likes 159 Dislikes 4

Bad penmanship and a bad pen make bod dlroclIam5.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Delivery MSN Messenger?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's actually kind of a pain in the ass to write on a door with a ballpoint pen

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

How do you know her name is Dawn?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Swype fucked my man to msn

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If that were the case, must've been a starbucks employee

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Amazon's drones have not yet been perfected. Spelling capabilities need some QA.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's like poetic military directions. Instead of hours on a clock it's "look noon", "look dawn", "look sunset"

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

He couldn't spell.

8 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 1

He capitalized the D though

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sounds like an amazon employee...i know this cause i work at Amazon

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

I can see that.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yo, hook me up with one of those cool Amazon jobs I keep hearing about. I've worked full time for almost 5 years for a company that gives >

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

no fucks about its employees. And as added bonus, I can actually spell.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Amazon doesn't either. If you do, you'll quit within a month, or they'll fire you

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Being an Amazon delivery driver I always do stuff like this to prevent it from being stolen since we're held responsible

8 years ago | Likes 282 Dislikes 3

you couldnt get away with this shit in florida most of the year, rains too fucking randomly

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So... you don't have to sign when you receive a package? And deliverers just leave it there instead of giving it to a neighbor?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It depends on the company but typically Amazon doesn't make people sign unless it's a receptionist taking in the package

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

they charge extra for that in a lot of places. I generally pay for it because my neighborhood is full of package thieving cockweasles

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Are you? I've had multiple packages where I've been home and tracking the delivery. Gets "delivered" and nobody ever even drove past...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah I am. That's weird did the packages ever show up later?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My fellow driver! I give you the highest of fives!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I give you the highest of fives back and wish for you minimal of apartments in your future deliveries!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Damn straight. Stupid apartments with their illogical numbering and stairs.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

There's also a huge lack of numbers or letters on the apartments. I had one today that was a community of at least 200 apartments 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

With 6 packages to deliver and I ran into a woman who directed me to every single apartment. Took me 20 minutes instead of an hour 2/2

I'm sure it does happen, but keeping happy customers that legit get it stolen is far more beneficial than making sure no one abuses it.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Yeah we can email them back but nothing ever really comes from it. People get deactivated and never work again for amazon even though 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

we didn't do anything wrong. Where I work I'm allowed 5 missing packages out of 500 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Amazon delivery driver here. A lot of drivers complain about that so Amazon now force us to take a picture of where we left the package.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I'd have done that anyway, just to cover my own ass.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you prove you left it on their property, does that absolve Amazon of any responsibility if it gets stolen after that?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If you show a pic depending on which reps you email it to can resolve it but sometimes it doesn't

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah but even with that it doesn't always protect us since they can still claim it's missing even with the pic and they'll still send 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

thatmissing package email. It's technically for customers to find the package easier 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

wtf! you...wait...excuse me. you are held responsible for the crimes of meth heads. whaa? how is that a thing??

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah I'm considered an independent contractor and I'm easily replaceable so whenever it's a sketch area I make sure it's well hidden

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

cheer mate. I would write the instructions in the back instead.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I do that. I write on the front please read back and write the location on the back since people might read the front of the slip

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Then you're one of the awesome ones. I had a package a few days ago show up at one of my friends house. A. She lives on the other 1/3?

8 years ago | Likes 67 Dislikes 2

Side of town in a van down by the river!

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Thankfully no. Although I do know a few of my friends who do actually live in a van down by the Colorado River.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

side of my apartment complex. B. I was home. C. I HADN'T SPOKEN WITH HER IN NEARLY THREE YEARS! How the fuck do you make that mistake 2/3

8 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 3

?I will admit, it was awesome to speak with her again, since I had no clue she still lived nearby. But still. Anyways, keep up the good work

8 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 2

Thanks! Yeah there a lot of different companies and people who deliver for Amazon and flex drivers like me are 100% responsible while 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Others are completely protected and won't have any repercussions at the moment. Including flex I know 5 other companies that deliver 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Plot twist: He knew and just wanted you guys to reconnect

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

While sweet sounding, that would be downright terrifying.
