#12 DragonForce wrote a song called "Space Marines Anthem" on their latest album.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Can't believe they named this amazing natural phenomenon after a weed strain.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

#50 it's easy if you try

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm just waiting for all the idiots to start posting "the aurora is a sign from gawd..." If it's a sign from god, its a sign he likes the gays better than you.

#20 Hey, that's my homie! Read her horror novel, The Broken Heart, and listen to the podcast she co-hosts, Scream Kings!

#28 Given the number of people on the spectrum in STEM fields, there's a solid argument to be made that autism causes vaccines.

The show is on again tonight, shiiiiiiit

#43 ...and boxer briefs seem to have been invented shortly before 1980.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

#13 3 Inches Of Blood, a Taylor Swift/Cam Pipes duet would be... interesting... https://youtu.be/XUd4Cbc49mg?si=xmxjCEMdhBXGv0Nf

Am i getting old? I don’t get #21 #33 or #44

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I believe that in one of Taylor Swifts songs she talks about wishing it were 1830, but without all of the racists.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I don't get the Taylor Swift one. But I believe the joke is Steven is an anagram for events. The other one is just commenting on how weird it is to talk about your original characters with the public I guess.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Oh, i was thinking OC at first, but since they didn’t capitalize it i was thinking ocs was some kind of acronym i wasn’t familiar with. Thanks!

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh damn, I realize I didn't get those same exact 3

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Username checks out

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#32 that’s kinda the point. To help you recognize patterns…

2 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

Journaling is very popular in yoga circles and I absolutely loathe it.

>Start writing in a journal to identify my negative patterns
>I realized I was writing in the journal daily
>identified it as a pattern
>got rid of the journal
>finally feel like I’m making progress
>tel my therapist the good news
>they bring in a crisis counselor

#49 that's called ADHD.

I never even get started, I just think about it for a couple minutes.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm in this comment and I don't like it.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I tend to abandon hobbies and I used to beat myself up about it, until I realized that the part I really enjoy is trying new things and learning, and once I’ve done that I flit to the next new thing. There’s nothing *wrong* with liking that! So I stopped beating myself up about it and just leaned into it and also started being careful about how much I invest in a new hobby. $50 for painting supplies is fine, $800 for a knitting machine is probably unwise.

2 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 0

Knitting… machine. Did you buy a grandma?

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Pretty cheap in this economy. Must be the property taxes

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I hear that.

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Loud and clear. Hell sometimes i do a bunch of planning and buy a bunch of stuff to start a new hobby, then lose interest either before I actually do it or just after I try it. 🤦‍♂️

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I was gonna make a list of all the projects I've started and not completed, things that I thought then and still do, would be great or at least worthy. That was about 8 months ago. Might have been 8 years ago, idk.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Buying and researching is way more fun than doing

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Truth

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Too bad I’m left broke and feeling empty

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ok imma need some context on the aurora spamming

2 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

The sun rubbed one out and all that high energy splooge bukkaked us.

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

This is the funniest explanation I've read, thank you for that lol irl

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hey that's our mother Earth you're talking about! Yuck thinking about parents is gross

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

There's been a massive solar storm causing incredibly strong auroras, visible much farther south than usual. Most of Canada and the US as well as much of Europe had auroras last night.

2 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 0

Nice, thanks!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And for us Southern Hemisphere types, most of whom have never seen the aurora australis, we were wondering why our skies were on fire.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Naturally it’s been cloudy here in Ireland.

2 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

It’s okay. Not like it’s been a lifelong dream of mine to see them in person or anything.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Same for me but I’m in Northern Ireland and was treated to a spectacular show.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Except for me. Live in the Seattle area. Have never seen it. Was working late shift last night. Started getting aurora pic texts. Took a break, went outside, missed it. Ended shift. Drove home, while receiving more aurora texts. Got home. Went outside for like an hour. Missed it.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

You may not have missed it. In order to see color, you had to view it through the 'night sight' camera mode on your phone, assuming you had it. Otherwise it looked like grey wisps in the sky.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Ohhhhh snap. Well shit lol. I did not know that.
