Funny thing, bees evolved from wasps. They're in the same biological family. About 150 million years ago they evolved to eat pollen.

I saw a huge hornet fly by when I was a kid in Texas. I HEARD it come and go before I SAW it come and go. Didn't play outside much after...
WD-40. Kills them, prevents them from building new nests, and smells delicious.
Also, put funky old chicken in a peanut butter her, spray it with wd40 and put it in your crab pot. Though I think that might be illegal...
Yeah I don't think WD-40 is supposed to be discharged into a body of water in any circumstances. I wouldn't do it, but I also don't crab.
