But what do you think of JoJo Steel Ball Run?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Clearly you have nevet partaken in The Cannonball Run. Everyone gets dressed up and loaded...then off we go!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Why watch NASCAR when you can just watch a bag of Skittles swirl down the toilet for the same effect?

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I like drifting it's pretty fun to watch and do

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or motogp that's pretty fun too

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Endurance racing for me

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No... you aren't racist, you are correct.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Me too...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I like all forms of motorsport with 4 wheels. I hate people who are so one sided. It's all just driving in circles but that's fun to watch

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Except rally and drag and others that don't do circuits.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nascar is an excuse for people to gather in massive numbers and get Uber shit faced. It's like tailgating for a football game

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I literally did an almost identical version months ago got ten points feelsgoodman :(

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sorry brother.????

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Steeple Chase! It's not a race until you hear the death screams of horses and men!

Formula 1 numba wan

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Rally is the solution.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dakar is #1

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But Mario Kart is okay by you. ...right? RIGHT?!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mario kart is not racing. Mario kart is life. Double-dash to rule them all!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

GTLM or GTFO.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

LMP or LMG.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Both. LMP cars don't look very cool, but they're cool from an engineering and physics standpoint. LMG is more meaningful imo.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Rally is just 2 dudes in the car with one wanting the other to give him road head

9 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 2

K-Right 90 into left 6 over crest, 50 into my boxers....

9 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0

You deserve more upvotes my good man

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I personally like NASCAR! Especially live.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I became interested in it because there was so much hate. Learned that there's tracks that aren't oval (ex. The Glen), but... 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2/2 the oval ones are the fastest and most pure. It's a lot about the pushing the limits of science and engineering. Oh, and f*ck ignorance

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Amen! :-)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

RE: NASCAR - It would be far more interesting if they went back to production cars and not aluminum foil-wrapped steel cages.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely games"- Ernest Hemingway

9 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 3

Those are games too. A game is anything played out according to specific rules, ones that limit your options to achieve the objective(s).

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think that's kinda the point. These all have rules that one abides by when things are going well. But when the poop hits the fan...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

".....also there's shotgun dodgery!"

F1 around Monaco, Spa and Monza

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm a fan of how WRC cars have somthing in common with the cars that there based on. Not this Nascar bs that's a fiberglass shell with stkrs

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you think that wrc cars are not custom made bodies like NASCAR then you are mistaken

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's somewhat closer to rd cars. A few parts still limited to stock. NASCAR has almost nothing that's truly stock. Drop in the ocean though.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I get that but there's a reason NASCAR cup cars are so far from stock. I wouldn't want to be in a road car with a cage going 200+

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd rather a purpose built shell to protect me

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The shell/cage is not the part on WRC cars to be close to stock. Some internal parts are.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They might be not as safe due to smaller size, but definitely not a weaker shell.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You ain't racing unless your brakes are on fire after the 3rd 90 degree corner on an old logging road doing 90mph 2' from 50 idiots yelling.

9 years ago | Likes 220 Dislikes 0

Ah, the 70s rally racing

Or you're running. You know, REAL racing.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 15

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Wow. You don't run? Lazy bastard in a car. Car racing isn't real racing.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 9

Watch this and tell me it's being lazy and not a real sport. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEuZG37gFdM

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Sure: You're being lazy and it's not a real sport. Happy I could help.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Wow that was cool. The amount of control he has is incredible. And I guess that with time it's only gotten faster. Thank you for this.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Running is something children can do... rally requires YEARS of practice to get around turns quickly, and sideways without just wrecking

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Driving is something any moron can do.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

It's a serious physical activity. For example, F1 drivers have to tense their whole body on every turn to avoid blacking out.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As an American, Nascar is trash. I'm sorry, but going in circles 500 times just isn't fun to watch.

9 years ago | Likes 562 Dislikes 30

Oh man cars going dangerously fast taking left turns and possibly crashing who could ask for anything better?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

A big part of it has to do with the cars and track material themselves. Top gear has a really good episode where they talk about it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Goto a race and at the events themselves their pretty fun

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I work for Nascar and although I don't care for it I really enjoy the events. So much fun and so much money

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Most American Motorsport enthusiasts aren't into Nascar. It's more of a sport for people that don't actually have any interest in racing.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It Makes more sense when you're there in person

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Let's be honest. Nobody watches NASCAR for a perfect race. People watch in hopes of seeing a horrible car accident at 200 mph.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Ever been to a NASCAR event in person? It's a completely different atmosphere in person, and the sound enough it hypnotic.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Left turn, Left turn, Left turn, Left turn, Left turn, Left turn, Left turn, Left turn, Left turn, Left turn, Left turn, Left turn

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Fortunately for you there is no law requiring you to watch/attend Nascar and the ability to seek recreation you DO enjoy.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

*and the freedom*

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

All fucking left turns

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

You dont go to a NASCAR race for the cars. You go to get COMPLETELY SHITFACED and bank on seeing Crashes.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

That's not the fun part. Beer is the fun part.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's 2,000 left turns by my calculations. Very hard. I mean left turns, all day, that is crazy!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Do some research man it's not just left turns it's not easy getting cars going that fast around the track will defending

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

While*

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The few road circuits they run every year are awesome. Two-abreast racing with questionable traction? Yes please.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

NASCAR is just endurance and strategy. Like Le Mans only in a circle so they can do it once a week.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

So you have no idea of F1. I advise you to go through mechanics of F1 and their drivers, you'll definitely change your opinion.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

They've only done F1 at Le Mans once, a very long time ago.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

NASCAR has road courses but they're boring as hell. NASCAR is inherently driver vs driver & road courses are typically track vs car.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

No fan either I like right and left turns. But they don't go around 500 times, tracks are different, Daytona - 200 laps; Bristol ~938 laps.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Uhh bristol is actually 500 laps...

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

you're right, sorry. Its called Food City 500, I figured 500 miles like Daytona and Indy and looked at the lap size.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It has a lot to do with drafting and requires a ton of risk taking strategy. However, I'd much prefer 50 laps over 200

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Check out dirt oval racing in that case :D

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As somebody who attends the indy 500 every year i agree that circle track racing can be dull but it's also very much about the atmosphere1/2

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

and partying with the crowd. I also live within walking distance so I am a bit biased. 2/2

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

waste of money for sure

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

THEY'RE MAKING A LEFT TURN!!! It's an easy sport to follow when you're hammered.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

I'm much more interested in Formula 1, but NASCAR is a better spectators sport. You see the cars a lot more than in F1

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

F1 uses the most advanced technology and is interesting when one knows the race in and out. But from live audience pov, it sucks.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mainly just because there's a lot more. With nearly the same average speed but lap distances half or less, the same car will pass more in F1

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My problem with NASCAR is all the advertisements on every square in of everything

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Agreed all the cars being the same spec makes it boring as well. F1 has the same issue as well.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

There's a strategy to it and it's probably fun to do but I can't watch it. F1 can be pretty good at times though.

9 years ago | Likes 131 Dislikes 1

F1 is much more boring in my opinion its cooler because the cars are different but the race itself is awfully dull

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 49

But, but.... motorcycle racing....

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

F1 monaco track is a delight.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

*was good, until they switched to v6's.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Funfact- NASCAR drivers experience only 2G amount of lateral force, whereas the F1 driver experiences a minimum of 5G to 9G max (1)

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

and that too in varying direction. And F1 drivers lose 4kgs of body mass due excessive heat from the cockpit.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

NASCAR drivers lose between 5-10 lbs as well.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yea, go faster than everyone else.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Isn't that every race?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes. But not all of them are 500 laps.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've had the argument with fans before but out of all the pointless sports nascar has to be the tops as it waste so many resources.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm sure it's a lot of fun to participate in and all but fuck is it boring to watch.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

bit like gold

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i meant golf... worst part is i'm on PC, no autocorrect, i'm just a twat.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nascar isn't a race, it's "race conditon management". When you refuel, caution lap restart rules.

9 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

So this "race condition management" doesn't exist in F1? Think about it.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The pit crew who have to figure out how many laps you can make on a tank and how bad the tires are getting

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's not as bad in f1 you have computers telling you what's wrong with the car or how much fuel you have in Nascar you have the driver and 1

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The only race I find interesting after F1 is MotoGP, btw people have choices. Just like I find cricket boring, but it's watched by many.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know I'm not telling you that you have to like Nascar I'm just saying Nascar requires a bit more from the driver and machine

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because F1 cars are the most technologically advanced machines whereas NASCAR's a fast running horse.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The tech advancement in F1 is slowly increasing now, think about the races a decade ago when there was same excitement but lesser technology

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

When you remind yourself that its a massive sled pushing 200 and threading needles with out a lot of mech help, its alright

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

It's. It about the race, it's about the beer you drink while there.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

and LOUD NOISES

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not unless you imagine one of them is out to kill the rest and nobody knows which one it is.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Death race?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd watch that.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ok, that could change it all.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That could only improve it

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't like nascar, but you can describe any sport like that. "Football is just watching guys chase a ball for a while and ending 0-0"

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 6

Yeah but your basically Garin teed to watch someone get clobbered

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

lol at the autocorrect. The crashes in nascar are pretty epic too though

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's a interesting spell check for Garunteed

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

So is that...guaranteed

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Im going to go real fast and turn to the left sometimes....

9 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 3

You might want to turn left more than just sometimes in NASCAR or you're gonna have a bad time and give the crowd a show.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

Screw you Danica Patrick. I'm just as poor and stupid as you.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

don't forget your vagisil dip
