Yep I work in a CO. Our gear isn't as old as yours but our DMS 100 is still old. The company has a 5 year plan to phase them out but 1/2
2/2 that was 4 years ago and nothing has been decommissioned lol.
Do you also have the forgotten floor of FLM 150's? A hundred racks with perhaps 20 DS1s still working.
We got rid of our FLM 150's, and yes we still have workers on our DS1 equipment... quite a bit actually lol.

The Apollo 11 mission that got us to the moon had less power computational power than a modern washing machine. Simple works, very reliably.
