The jump.
Double checking to make sure there is no parachute.
The men with smaller balls depart.
The catch.
FP Edit- Woo! Thanks for the internet points guys! I just moved into a new place so send me pics of your best remodeling projects!

It's Brian!
lawndartcatcher
It's easy to jump out of an airplane without a parachute. Once.
DarthCiD
Must be 'stralia with a spider web that big.
MoseyPosey
Anyone else feel like he came dangerously close to MISSING that net??
LooseyGooseyBrett
This isn't true. a number of people have jumped from planes with no parachute. This guy just happened to survive

A finnish guy did a parachuteless jump from a hot air balloon last summer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lq-54gox6-k
TheDairyPope
Anyone can jump from a plane without a chute, not very many get to do it twice.
bradenbk
(possible kudos)....i work for the company that developed the engine mod in that specific plane :)
nonmillenialmillenial
Travis Pastrana did this years ago. He didn't even wear a shirt
TurkeySlapa
And human spaghetti in 3, 2, 1...
WalrusMuscles
Not quite, first intentional jump with no parachute and also landing w/o parachute. A couple have jumped out, then hooked up to someone else
AdrianDunne
People have successfully jumped out of a plane with no parachute before.
ipostthesamegif
not the first, there is a sport in like spain or near there where they literally throw to parachute out the plane and then jump
craze
Are they dropping Brians?

With your own gigantic titanium balls
AManWithAParticularSetOfSkills
wrth
RagnarLothcock
Im surprised that net contained those giant balls.
gillotte
I'm not impressed by this. That big a net and he almost missed it on the right side. Considering skills we've seen by sky divers doing 1/2
gillotte
various stunts and all, this guy seems to not be that skilled. Ballsy yes skilled no.
ShouldIReallyGoWithMyOldUsernameFuckItCallMeAcromos
The Russians experimented with soldiers (or dissidants from their camps) jumping into snow from a low flying plane. It was not used 1/2
ShouldIReallyGoWithMyOldUsernameFuckItCallMeAcromos
In action because it would incapacitate too many of the troops with broken ankles and legs (about 30 percent if I recall correctly). 2/2
itisanimgurnaccount
Wearing clothes. There's still room for improvement.
SuperJew12
"Aww fuck....I forgot my parachute...OH HEY A GIANT NET"
vreeble
I doubt that's the first. Maybe the most successful.
SherMattLockSmith
First landing without a parachute without injuries.
AnalFistingPornStarLegendJhonnyShitKnuckles
Bet they were real upset when that net got in the way
RedEyesJedi
ClandestineIntestine
BrightColours
the only reason why i watched this live is because i hoped he would fail
bigdirtycroissant
I'm amazed the net could support the weight of his giant balls
Nolfelix115
Damn I would be sad to if I went through all that effort and a net was the thing to stop me.

Sauce?

Sorry - http://www.cnn.com/2016/07/31/us/skydiver-no-parachute-successful-landing-trnd/

Very cool. Thank you.
ChiefBeefyBoner
He BARELY fucking hit that net. That was the universe telling him to never press his luck again
Binsto
and his wife and you son were watching, can you imagine if he missed that net?!
ChiefBeefyBoner
And he literally EXPLODED on the dirt
KarlebyFittans
Travis Pastrana did it without a parachute or a safety net. AND without a shirt. https://youtu.be/KRLzvPioKG0
RepostFromLastWeek
He landed with another jumper under canopy, making it essentially a tandem. Plus it was done numerous times before him by normal jumpers.
hellomellowyellojellobitch
I think k this is the third time this has been done, they all look the same to me though
SherMattLockSmith
Nope, first from a plane landing using a net. There has only been one other jump using a wingsuit from a helicopter landing on cardboard (1)
SherMattLockSmith
Boxes. The third one with a wingsuit landing in water was a hoax. (2)
hellomellowyellojellobitch
I meant reposts, just being a jerk over here ;)
zma123456
I wonder how much that net hurt though.
Wildattheart
Rug burn galore.
RepostFromLastWeek
He had body armor on his back.
SomeWateryTartThrewASwordAtMe
Probably a lot less than the ground
TeamKillingFuckTard
I bet the ground would hurt at all in that 1/1000of a second before you end up like the eggs I dropped at breakfast this morning

We need a "Top reply" feature. This comment warrants it.
theshrektacularshrek
Well, replies are arranged just like comments. The reply with the most points are also on the top of the thread.
MyOtherPetIsACat
Oh. Hadn't noticed. Thanks!
theshrektacularshrek
No worries mate

Correction - Successful jump from a plane*
PirateRubberDuck
Purposely with no parachute. There was a survivor of a parachute failing to open.
TCxStorm
Travis Pastrana did it years ago.
LowerLands
I thought Travis pastrana did this ages ago
upvotehypnotoad
Guy with a wingsuit landed on a pile of boxes, but not sure if he was wearing a chute or not
LjubljanaJeNajlepseMestoNaSvetu
Russian "paratroopers" un ww2 would have no parashoots, the plane would hoge the ground at lowest speed, theyd jump
LowKeyTroll
"It's not the jump that needs to be successful." -*spot-on Groucho Marx impression, trust me*
justahumanbeing
Check to make sure no parachute lol Your commentary is hilarious!
optimistcynic
Well I mean a lot of people have successfully jumped out without a parachute this was the first to land it.
lifefeed
Everyone who jumped without a parachute landed.
myr14d
Nah, I heard one guy aimed at the ground but missed. He can fly now.
Rip42
As in the late dentarthurdent.

There were a couple guys in world war II that jumped without parachutes and survived. "successful, planned jump from a plane" maybe?
imnotthedoctor
Yeah at least landed in the mountains and the fresh, like 6 feet of snow caused only fracturing. Nazis thought story was bs and he was a spy
SherMattLockSmith
Perhaps "First jump from a plane without a parachute that did not result in injuries."
Twitchanov
Perhaps "first volunteer no parachute jump"?
Ronelyn
There've been a surprising number, actually.
justahumanonline
all of them had something relatively soft that they crashed into. Tree branches, snow, hay bales, etc.
Ronelyn
IIRC, this one Russian stewardess landed on angled mountain slopes that slowed and saved her.
yesiamaphysicist
Alan Magee fell through the glass roof of a train station. Not soft, but better than concrete and slowed him down enough.
