A chain broke and he got caught between a log and a piece of mill equipment. He was a good man and he was a good friend. I don't even know what to think, I'm not crying, I'm not sad, I feel nothing as if his death was nothing... Is something wrong with me? Im not even sure what to do... I'm gonna miss you Jack.

It will catch up to you. Usually night time when I have nothing to distract me from my mind, grief catches up with me. Sorry!

You won't feel anything until he appears at the foot of your bed at 3am and tickles your feet.

Not unusual, people popping off doesn't bother me, but a dog, I'm a wreck.

that's normal for some people. It may take some time or it may not. I wouldn't worry about it.

Hopefully you have access to a grief counselor, you're possibly going through denial which is why it's taking time for your brain to react.

There's nothing wrong with you Op. I recently lost a friend at the fault of another friend. I understand feeling numb, hope you're okay <3

You will likely be hit with a feels train within a week and you will be a wreck.

No, many people experience a delay. You're gonna go through some weird shit, just remember it's your brain trying to keep you alive.

I'm 26, I've had 3 or 4 dozen people I know die. It doesn't phase me in the slightest.

Are you a sociopath?

Never diagnosed, but that has been suggested before. I doubt I am though.
