I work with some who will quote you a bunch of total nonsense in his favor that didn't happen.

Had some idiot almost run me over with his car. While I was on the sidewalk. Bellowed at him, and waited for the walk signal. Shit biscuit sat there and went 'wah wah wah' and mumbled like a mental patient till I got across the road (I was grinning at him, made sure I wasn't going to get pinned).

In a "I ain't got no dick' muscle car, yet.

Can someone explain the meme?

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

“So, if he were to run again but his opponent was a boring, non-white woman, who would you vote for?”

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't kid yourselves.

They're still going to vote (R) all down the ballot. Religiously so.

And if we voted with the same certainty and unity, we would not be in this mess...

oh they absolutely will - married into a conservative family

Yeah I don't know what MAGA people folks are around, but I'm not seeing any of this in my family or my area of the country. They love Trump and vote R no matter what. Their beliefs haven't changed, nothing has changed. They literally don't even know anything bad he or the GOP have done. If you confront them with anything, they dismiss it. If it's so irrefutable (like gas prices) they can't dismiss it, they'll change the subject. They don't care. I've heard *zero* criticism of Trump from them.

Because they’d still vote for him

Then there’s all the assholes who couldn’t be bothered to vote: it wouldn’t have made a difference…

one of them last week said to me that trump might be the worst president we've ever had. i said he'd still vote for him. he said yeah. i dont know what to do.

There’s nothing to do, you can’t force people to make good decisions

Smack him upside the head.

The best thing you can do is to ignore them. They’re stuck on Trump as a form of blackmail. Do what I say or I’ll burn it all down.
If we all stop paying attention they’ll wear themselves out.

great idea except this is an old man who is a lawyer, so... might need to go back to the drawing board

Tell him there's a wasp on his head then smack him.

No sympathy. This is what they voted for.

Z E R O

Is it possible to do negative sympathy?

2 weeks ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yeah, they have to SHOW sympathy to get it out of negatives. So they're screwed.

Isn't that what hate is? I mean you'd wish them ill rather than well if you hate them, right?

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As an aside, I wish we'd stop confusing their bigotry with hate. Hate isn't an evil thing. We SHOULD hate these vile monstrous wretches.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Absolutely true, hatred of people hurting others is love for those that are hurt.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The opposite of empathy is disgust and distain, and repulsion. If there is a single word for all in one I don’t know it yet. I saw someone say hate but that’s a bit different, that’s the opposite of acceptance.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

To expand there is good hate (Nazis, pedophiles, rapists), and bad acceptance (same examples)

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ire. Not quite hate, definitely more than simple disapproval.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Except you can be repulsed without anger

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Like how many were during the early days of Covid. Not masking, not distancing, not staying home.

And then blaming the 'radicul left' for engineering a virus that killed predominantly conservatives.

2 weeks ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't even know if you're joking or not.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Some did. Took it as proof covid was a leftist plot because it seemed to target predominently magas. Ofcourse, this was just a minority, there are extremists and extremely dumb people on all sides.

2 weeks ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So it was easier for them to arrive at "engineered virus" rather than vaccines work. I don't know how some of you cope given what you're sharing your country with. Then again, I do believe the stupid was engineered.

I mean, weather controlling jewish space lasers ring a bell? I'm watching all of it from Europe and asking the same thing.
