Interesting. I've never played Lacrosse, or even watched a game. How often does stick balancing come up during a typical game?

Just coordination. One of the wildest training drills I ever heard of was the US Softball team, who did batting training with tennis balls: Smaller target, ~2x as fast. Oh, and they wrote numbers on the ball and the ladies had to call out the *color* of the number flying at them https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna5761652

Never. It's probably an exercise in using all of your vision to track what is going on during a game.

She is a goalie- they need super fast hand eye coordination- a lot like being a ice hockey goalie...that is all this is, and it is quite silly actually.

You mean that isn't the whole game? Damn, I thought I might be a reasonable lacrosse player.

If she used her right hand in conjunction, she could better stabilize both sticks simultaneously https://media4.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPTY1YjkxZmJleTViZmZzYjB5OW1kbjk5bDB4aGhtMW84czN2eHUyeWtsdTB2dmJ3diZlcD12MV9naWZzX3NlYXJjaCZjdD1n/d3mlE7uhX8KFgEmY/giphy.mp4
