I've been job searching for most of the year, mostly to supplement my income when my freelance work gets a little thin. I had even more incentive to look for work since my father passed away earlier this year, and our income got a little dicey. My mom's disabled (But unable to get disability because she 'didn't work long enough') so she's unable to work. Freelance work has been limited because of convention season for the furry fandom and severe depression and grief from losing my father.
Had an interview today at Hobby Lobby and got hired on the spot, and it's in the fabric section :D. It's temporary, but at almost 24 (Birthday is on the 16th) I feel like im finally getting somewhere. I have Orientation tomorrow morning.
Came home and immediately made bbq chicken wings and now im just a happy pile.
I'm gonna go to bed early and be excited to finally have some stable income.
