Wow, that costs way less than I guessed it would.

Pro prop fabricator here. $300 is an amazing price for this (I'd charge at least 5x more). I doubt he has the distribution rights, though.

Really love it, honestly would binge purchase that but damn i really dont like that 5 month wait time ?

If we mass-produced those then maybe people will wear a fucking mask

5 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

Everyone in IronMan masks around me at Target: "Jarvis, open the mask..."

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They'd walk around with it open. Source: my fucking job.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

"Jarvis, close mask, but just to under the nose..."

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Utterly beautiful.

Its 300 full price. 150 deposit

5 years ago | Likes 412 Dislikes 0

Still less than I thought it would be. More than I want to pay either way.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Well, sounds like a good price for the tech and quite good craftmanship

5 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 0

Damn I misread it. Thanks! That’s still not too bad

5 years ago | Likes 120 Dislikes 1

I just about pulled the trigger on that Spiderman mask but shipping was 60 bucks. That on top of the high price point is a lot.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

300 bucks and doesn’t included the 4 AA batteries needed to operate it...

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

4 pieces of AA batteries. So just get one and cut it into 4 pieces

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Probably because of shipping

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You spend all that money and it still doesnt have batteries lol, but probably as most places do have restrictions on shipping batteries.

The earlier models were better-looking than the later, skin-smooth-looking models. Change my mind.

5 years ago | Likes 98 Dislikes 3

Big is beautiful!

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Agreed; the early models were robotocised power-armour. Later models were magic metal catsuits, complete with Super Sentai transformation

5 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 1

Just recently started rewatching the Infinity Saga. Man, watching him work with actual looking parts and machines is SO good.

5 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

I agree, Something about watching the armor assemble itself around him, with all the moving parts clicking into place was so satisfying.

5 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

It felt real, tangible, as opposed to the fantasy-style transformation with the nanotech suits.

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

To each their own. I appreciated the fact he iterated and improved the system as time went on more than the aesthetic, personally.

5 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 2

Especially how every time he encountered something his armor lacked, he added an upgrade to address it for the next battle

5 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

I loved that, also. Needs access to suit in emergencies. Briefcase suit. Too cumbersome and needs to carry. Suit deploys and attaches to him

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

One big piece is too slow. Make it fly apart in pieces to all attach separate. Still not fast enough and reliable. Namotech armor.

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

The best part was how each individual piece of the armor could fly and the entire mass of the armor could disappear at will...
