The Vietnam War has historically been the least talked about America war by it's survivors . This Series has over 90 Eye witness interviews from all sides of the conflict and is said to give the most comprehensive and detailed look into the real story.

There are several Sneak Preview videos http://www.pbs.org/kenburns/the-vietnam-war/home/

These kids were asked to everything but win. This should be a great series!

Korean war just has to be less talked about. It's called the forgotten war for christ's sake.

Least talked about by survivors? How many interviews have you seen about the civil war?

Does it have the French point of view?

Go read Matterhorn by Karl Marlantes. It's a lightly fictionalized version of his time in Vietnam. I highly recommend it.

Likely the environment, Vietnam vets constantly talk to each other about where they were stationed/who they knew when they meet in the VA.

If not for my age, at this point I could bluff my way as a Vietnam vet because of how many little details I've heard.

Back in yr.10 history we learnt a lot about the Korean War and Australia's role in it, it's actually a pretty dandy war if you want to read.
