By everything else do you mean screaming "NOT THERE WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU" while also not actually indicating where to point it? Because if so, same.
“You need to be ready to hand me the right tools when I need them. Just look at what I’m doing and think ahead.”— ah yes, my 10 year old brain was definitely primed for this. Silver lining- made me a very helpful person to have around.
Fun fact: Sea otters are the only marine animal that use tools, though their tools are mostly rocks. They even have a pocket-like fold of fur to keep their favorite rock.
There are examples of octopus using coconut shells as shelters but not explicitly for extra utility. An otter will use a rock to break open a shell but an octopus using a coconut shell is probably just a step above a hermit crab.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you had somebody in your life that helped fill the void.

"If I open the sink cabinet, you should already be running to fetch the crescent wrench and flashlight before I ask." - my grandad.

Yeah I thought it was weird when I was a kid, but that mindset very much prepared me for work more than my schooling did.

See, ladies? You don't need no pockets, just stuff things under your tit!

Well that just brought back memories of having to handle sweaty boob money during the summer, back when I worked retail. Thanks for that.

If they let me dig it out myself I might be ok with it though.

Octopus don't use tools? That seems odd

Fair enough. That was the only thing I could think of as well, so I couldn't really even justify arguing it lol
BobbyDeanWillicker
To be fair to the octopus though, their bodies are already a metaphorical swiss army knife
