I worked for a construction company, assigning new people to their jobs. I would describe how they could work on the ladder, installing the gutters, or they could run the former that makes the gutter. I would then ask if they would prefer the former, or the latter. No one was ever happy with their assignment.

I didn't know Formers existed... and this is awesome.

Eyy, good for you. I’m not sure I’d be able to catch something like that in another language. Seriously, that’s cool, my dude. :)

If you have thirty sick sheep and half of them die, how many are left?

Sheepdog: Twenty, I rounded them up.

You know, I actually have never thought about how gutters are shipped, but I imagine on a roll and then through a former is MUCH cheaper

Some types are shipped as sections, Formed Gutters are also marketed as Seamless because there is no sectional seams on straight runs.

It all comes down to scale of work. If you are doing repairs it is better to preform, if your building neibourhoods ship the machine.

It's also a cleaner install; every joint is a chance to leak and with seamless on site the only joints are at corners.

Much easier as well. Formed gutters are fragile and bulky. A roll of metal is compact and sturdy.

what the hell is that in the picture?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's the former, not the ladder.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did they choose the latter and make a clatter?

Seamless gutter forming is super neat.

Go fetch that left handed board stretcher out of the truck newbie and be quick about it.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fuck you hefe, I need a skyhook to get to the board stretcher in the overhead connex.

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well now I want to see a gif of a gutter former going

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0
