My personal favorite... heart and sap cocobolo and a single cut bass at that. I think all it needs is a 6th string and it'd be perfect!

I love the fretless sound but, having never played one, I'd be afraid of spending the money and not being able to get it figured out.

Its not so bad its all muscle memory like if you wanna do a walk you just feel it and hear it.
