I tried to go for some fairly impractical designs and then afterwards figure a reason why the weapon is shaped that way.
Couldn't come up with anything too logical though so some of these just look weird.

Yeah :D It helps to picture how the weapon is being held. Not like it wan't obvious but just to make it a little easier.

He's right. None of them is a gun. It's just a regular scythe, though apparently it closely resembles some scythe that has gun functions.
