What's the appeal of the funky, sour lambics? I love Belgian beer, but I tried a few 3 Fonteinen earlier this year, and I just don't get it.

Tradition, Art, Patience, taste, the process of brewing and blending, the 3 years it takes to produce, the flavors of wild yeast etc.

its not for everyone. I'm not a big fan of super-malty sweet belgian strong ales most of the time, as I'm not really into sweets.
