Introducing Dexter, the Mega Cat with Mega Personality

This is Dexter. He's kind of a rescue - he belonged to a friend who found herself in a position where she was unable to care for him any longer, so I took him in.

I had already known old Dexter for a few years, and knew he was a super chill guy.

He also has trouble with cat beds. Partly because he's a Very Large Boi, but also partly because he just doesn't give a shit.

I mean.

If there's one thing Dexter does better than anyone, it's relaxing.

He also adores kisses! He will actually head butt your lips to force the kisses sometimes.

Here are some of Dexter's beans.

Along with kisses, he also loves snugs.

When he's really feeling affectionate, he'll knead his paws on you. But for some reason, he ONLY goes for the throat.
He will sit and knead your throat as hard as he can for as long as you'll let him. It usually is not a comfortable experience.
But how can I not let him?? I mean honestly.

As you can see, he also poses for Snapchat filters like a pro.

Blessing you with a blep.

And he will lay like this for HOURS.

Also, this is his absolute favourite sleeping position.

He is the Grand Champion of the faceplant.

He does it so much, I started a Faceplant Of The Day.

SO MANY.

I even managed to finally capture a faceplant on video!

This is one of his favourite lounging positions, and it's hysterical.

Did I mention one of his nicknames is Dexter the Hutt?

Who doesn't enjoy a good sit.

He'd been sitting like this for a while when I found him.

Dexter has the most chill I've ever seen in a cat.

For reals.

This is the night he slid backwards off this pillow onto the couch, and was like "Meh, this is fine."

ALL THE CHILL.

Last summer I decided to let him have some supervised outdoor adventures.
He LOVED it.

There wasn't really any risk of him wandering too far, obviously.

Living his best life.
