If it was really bad chocolate pudding.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you eat it before it’s ripe, it is poisonous

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

We have many of them at México

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

colombian here, can confirm...so delicious! a bit greener its orange and tastes like mango/peaches

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’ve seen some guy eat this before on YouTube, I don’t remember who, but I remember that it tasted nothing like chocolate.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We have that in Mexico. It doesn't taste anything like chocolate, but is delicious. Mash it and mix it with orange juice to make a desert.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Its not really like chocolate pudding sadly

4 TIMES AS MUCH VITAMIN C AS AN ORANGE

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Only the elite know about these. You are ruining the new world order!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Who was hungry / drunk / high enough to try eating that nasty looking thing?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Chocolate pudding you say...four times the vitamin c of an orange you say....I say you sir are a dreamer...Good day to you sir..

"Tastes like chocolate pudding!!"- some carob-eating fuck

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'll try a plant!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

dosent taste like chocolate but awesome in a banana smoothie!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

it doesnt taste like chocolate pudding at all in my opinion. tastes like a very bland persimmon. the texture is very creamy though.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm sure after shipping it'll also cost 4 times as much as an orange too....

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Want choccy fruit

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sad fact, they are over ripe in like 2-3 days after picking. Most Americans produce is weeks old by the time you get it

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I didn't know this. Thanks for the knowledge

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

It's false, dude. The fruit is from Mexico and does not taste remotely like chocolate. Totally different

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It doesn't matter on the vitamin C since it's water-soluble and your body can only use so much before it's just pissed away.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's better that way or you're more prone to overdosing like with lipid soluble vitamins.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Vitamin A thinks you're a little bitch.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

High in vitamin B (itch)

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

5:45 in the video she eats it. Pudding like texture but no no no, it does not taste like chocolate.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What's with the '4 times as much vitamin C as an orange'? Did I miss a 'try to overdose on vitamin C' fad?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, No. Whomever wrote this has OBVIOUSLY NEVER had Chocolate Pudding and is probably an Anti-Vaxxer.

"Unripe fruits are astringent, caustic, bitter, irritating, and have been used as fish poison in the Philippines." Well that sounds good.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Why are we not funding this?

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Emmy on Youtube (EmmymadeinJapan) has a fruity fruit segment & tries these. She's great at describing flavors and textures.

5 years ago | Likes 83 Dislikes 2

Ha, yes she's great! I'd forgotten all about her channel -- I went on a 2-3 day long EmmymadinJapan binge a year or two back. Can testify.

5 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

Sure just don't post the video. https://youtu.be/UQDMX91aImM

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Sorry, I don't know how to, but thank you for doing it.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I love her! She tries so many cool things.

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

She is awesome, her and Jon Townsend help me escape from all the negativity

5 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

You should go give ''How to cook x'' - The victorian way by a channel called English Heritage. The character Mrs. Crocombe is a legend.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Townsends is just so great.

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Nobody needs that much vitamin C. Any excess to your requirements just gets pissed away.

5 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 4

So? Chocolate pudding!

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Guess again.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

You don’t know how high I can fly

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But it tastes like chocolate pudding!

5 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I'm afraid not.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Pissed away like Chumbawumba?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Like literally your next flush will have more vitamin C than an orange.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Like a flush for the urinary tract, right? Puddin' an' clean kidneys! Win win!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i really doubt that tastes like chocolate pudding

5 years ago | Likes 301 Dislikes 3

You would

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It does not. It had the same texture though.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Is real, even if it look weird. Is like chocolate pudding.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Plot Twist: Tastes exactly like chocolate pudding

5 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 2

Probably to the same people who said Carob was "just like chocolate" in the 70s/80s.

5 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 0

Carob was so good, I used to get carob buttons as a treat when I was a kid. Really hard to find these days though

Carob buttons. Like chocolate buttons, but carob

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Good! Carob is barfy.....just my opinion, as I don't care for it. Obviously, you carry on sir, with your carob love

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Carob is nice because it lets dogs get close to the glory of chocolate.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In my experience, no exotic fruits taste like the descriptions.

5 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

I once heard the smell of a Durian described as mustard dressing on flaming garbage and I was not prepared for how accurate that was.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

To me it smelled like rancid gasoline. And tasted just like rancid gasoline. "Taste like heaven" my ass.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ah yes. Smells on the other hand are very credible. Durians rumored amazing taste was supposed to be worth the smell. It was not.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Its very sweet but chocolate is not a flavour i would use to describe it (im mexican)

5 years ago | Likes 144 Dislikes 0

Hi Mexican. I'm dad.

Where can one aquire such fruit?

5 years ago | Likes 482 Dislikes 3

Don’t shower for a few weeks. You can harvest your own from your butthole.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Yucatán peninsula in Mexico and yes. Wonderful taste!

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sold in Australia under the name "Chocolate Pudding Fruit". (Pretty inventive)

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Buy them from a street vendor, two kopins for a dozen

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

they'll pop up every now and then at farmers markets depending on where you live.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

South Florida

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's not very different from "persimmon", aka "caqui", aka "kaki". But small variances of the species change taste and texture by a lot.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Seriously wtf down votes this?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My grandma could do that with a crossbow

Links crossbow training really came in handy!!

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

A horse also fell when she was riding it and crushed her ankle

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes & why have we not been introduced to such a prize in America?

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

It's not fried nor orange.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Probably doesn't ship/store well and/or has a limited harvest season. Like how the pawpaw isn't in stores, even though native to the US.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Quite common in Brazil, my grandma had a sapotí tree in her yard. The taste is quite overwhelming though, tangy, oily and dense.

Jungle jims legit has the biggest supply of exotic produce I’ve ever seen. I’m surprised the usda hasn’t shut them down for invasive species

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I live like 30 mins away from the place, it's great

There are Jungle Jim’s outside of Cincy?
