Cancer survivors, during and after treatment

Aug 31, 2017 1:54 PM

Because you'll be hard pressed to find a soul that hasn't been touched by this terrible disease, and I'm sure some of you are fighting it right now.
If you’ve been witness to someone with the disease, or fought it yourself, you know just how terrifying and debilitating it can be. It pulls no punches and doesn’t care about race, religion or nationality. It can be beat, however. These people went toe to toe with cancer and kicked its ass.
Have a little inspiration.

Was diagnosed and treated 3 different times over 13 years. Currently 3 years in remission after stem cell transplant. Keep the strength!

My in-laws have both had cancer, and survived. My cousin is going through cancer at the moment. They are some of the bravest people I know.

http://imgur.com/3fmRHb7 Went from bald to what little I can grow (2 years later). Drug trial keeps me from growing anything longer/thicker.

Good to see all the radiation helped you transform to your new role and you got to skip the spider bite.

Children wth cancer is truly the most heartbreaking thing. Watching my dad was bad enough, but a little one? Forget about it.

My mom fought her heart out, but didn't make it. I'm truly happy for all those that did.

My dad too. It's good to see the ones who make it.

My sister also lost her fight. I miss her every minute of every day. I am happy for these brave individuals who are now cancer-free.
