Johnnie Langendorff saw the shooting this past Sunday and gave a ride to the neighbor who confronted the shooter. They gave chase, called the cops, and kept the shooters car in sight until police arrived. Reminds me of the good Samaritan in Baby Driver or some tale of the old West. Glad there are still doers and helpers in the world.

In the interview he says " the other guy came to my truck and told me what the other guy did and we need to follow him, so I did"

This s comment section should be entertaining

i like the gunlaws in texas, but its WAY to hot for me to ever want to live there.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This guy is a good dude, those shootings affected my community if he wasn't there it could have been a whole lot worse

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Makes me think of "Hell or High Water".

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

I know exactly what you mean.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I’m concerned. You’re either trying to say “there are” or “they are/they’re” and either could work.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Both :) you decide constant reader.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's all fun and games when he doesn't kill a family of 5 in a minivan during a high speed chase with no training.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 22

They didn't go far and it was rural Texas.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 6

Gonna be honest: I've never met anyone with a frontal neck tattoo that was a nice person. But he did his good deed either way.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

I've met plenty of nice people with neck tattoos.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Well its good that you guys have easy acces to guns so you can confront terrorists

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 5

Someone buy this guy a beer, good job sir.

8 years ago | Likes 71 Dislikes 2

This guy will have his beers bought for him in any Texas bar he visits for months to come. I hope he doesn’t develop alcoholism.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A six pack and a ranger badge would also work.

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 2

..and a wheelbarrow for their huge balls

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

We have lots of doers and helpers in Texas. We're an awesome state. I'm very proud of this man.

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 5

All anyone knows my sate for is being the first to Succeed and then threaten to do it again.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Secede. Lol

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Shhh, they think they succeeded in seceding.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Must have been a quad cab to fit both of them, the rifle, that country pride and those huge freaking balls.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He wears his neck tattoo proud, with no ragrets.

I read somewhere the neighbour is the actually hero because before this guy showed up the neighbour had already shot the shooter once

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Why not both? One was there to help immediately, one answered the call to help when asked.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

A man's gotta do what a man does

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Does nobody think that this was a disaster that luckily ended well. A shootout? what could possibly go wrong. Life is not an oater.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

From his description of events, after the shooter drove off the neighbor with the gun ran up to him and hopped in his car and exclaimed(1/2)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"He just shot up the church." With an armed man seeking vengeance in your car, what else is one to do? (2/2)

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This is shaggy's texan cousin

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

fuck yeah Texas!

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 8

"Kept the shooter in sight" You mean also returned fire on the shooter.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

After he crashed, these two kept an eye on the car.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That man looks like a Texan if I had to guess. Glad theres still good people in the world.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lived in Texas my whole life. San Antonio actually. Only seen like 5 people that look like this.

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 6

That is the wrong part of texas

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Wow, even with Austin just a short drive away? I saw at least 5 people like this in one day at Sea World.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And they were all Texans. Boom case closed

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

Looks more like Florida man to me

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Thats because you live in San Antonio, not many country folk here.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That couldn’t have been a “Good Samaritan” in Baby Driver. He had a full auto MP-5

8 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 2

I love that movie but that bothered me so much

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I thought that was their inside man with the "nose problem" he had second thoughts and snapped even though spacey was gonna ruin his life

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I️ was definitely rooting against him

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Agreed, he was endangering other civilians.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

He was also a Marine by the hat and stickers. But what he was doing with an MP-5 I'll never know.

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

I think the director was asked this, and just responded with "He's american"

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Also a conservative, African American, and vet. Living in Atlanta.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Have you ever met a Marine?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Lived with them. Worked with them. Still... MP5 full auto is out of most of their range of things they can buy.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A brand new Mustang costs more than $20,000

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

True, but a car payment is easier to explain to the wife than a gun payment.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

can we talk about how fucked up it is for trump to blame mental health when he signed the bill letting mental health cases to get guns?

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 8

Shhh the community is circle jerking at the moment... they don't want to think about illogical gin control decisions.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

You mean he repealed ableist bullshit? Correct.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

The "mental health" bill was opposed by the ACLU. Had nothing meaningful to do with mental health. Had to do with Social Security benefits.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

2) Use my awesome ms paint creation

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Shhh... Shhhhh...... Facts are not welcome here.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Yes! Honor the names, faces and stories of the good samaritans & the victims of a tragedy. Perpetrator should get nothing - zero notoriety

8 years ago | Likes 344 Dislikes 10

God bless the heroes in this world.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's why I say we need to cremate the bad guy & flush them down a toilet or throw out in the garbage cause that's what they are. Garbage

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

That's actually brilliant

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

100% agree. For one of the mass shootings I remember that some media outlets only referred to him as "the shooter", and I liked that

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 1

I bet if his name had been Mahmoud, it would have been released by the media.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't even know what color the shooter was. Is America finally growing up a bit?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

If it wasn't white on black, the media doesn't care.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

We must remember it all. The good, the bad, the shameful, the ugly. (In my honest opinion)

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Yup, I never want to see a picture of that fuckwit

8 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 1

It's because you see his face doesn't mean you are making him famous.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

If I saw his face it's because it was on the news which would

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I don,t think the good samaritan had anything to do with an armed shoot em up style car chase, or did I misread that. I better read again.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

spot on the media should never carry the names of the bastards that carry out such atrocities

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I purposely block out the name of that douche that killed John Lennon.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well you can't exactly go wiping out facts just to avoid giving fame...

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

Come on, you know (or should know) I didn’t make your claim. Facts should remain as they are. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cGZkCPo7tC0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So how does the perpetrator get zero notoriety without striking his name from the event entirely?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Here’s my olive branch... Yes, technically it’s impossible. I said zero notoriety but I would settle for less.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You can if it fits your political agenda.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There*

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Fixed*

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bless your soul.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well thanks for completely ruining baby driver...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Not ruined.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

.....i was kidding

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What gets me is all the hate being thrown at the victims. People are basically saying that they deserved to die because they were in church.

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 17

Ya can I get a source on that? A) id like to know who these twats are B) all I've seen so far is the people saying "less prayers more laws"

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I replied to my comment with some links, a couple had to be split up.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Before anyone jumps on my case, no, I'm not talking about the comments talking about legislation. I'm talking about people like Handler and

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Wheaton who would rather attack people than actually have a discussion. People want to use a tragedy to attack others. That needs to stop as

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

much as the gun violence.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I’m not a religious person, but I will never think or say people deserved to die because they were religious or in a place of worship.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Neither am I, and I'll say the same thing. How people can even say that they deserved to die because they followed a religion makes me

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

physically sick.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My thing is this: as long as you’re not trying to force your religion on me or hurt other people, we’re good. Do what makes you happy.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's how it should be. Sadly, we live in a world where people think that how a person thinks is offensive and is justification to kill

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He looks like he would say "you gotta do what you gotta do." to anyone who asked why he did it.

8 years ago | Likes 607 Dislikes 3

If that ain't country, I'll kiss your ass

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or “Not in Texas, pussy!” As he attempts to tackle the assailant

That's why Leela quit her job.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Just 'cause him on the news, his quote was something like "He destroyed so many lives, why wouldn't you want to take him down."

8 years ago | Likes 115 Dislikes 0

*caught* him on the news, even.

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

So why did you do it, why did you help? “Sometimes you gotta get ‘er done!”

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They did ask him that question in the interview and he did actually kinda say that lol

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"Just doin my job mam."

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

@holuguacamonica You almost nailed what he actually said to the reporter verbatim

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

"What were you thinking during that chase?" "Just... get it done. Whatever it takes."

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

From hero to axe killer

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's almost exactly what he said.

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

And that is what makes him a helper.

8 years ago | Likes 87 Dislikes 3

Did you just Mr.Rogers me?

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Yes. Yes I did. I take my shoes off just like him because I watched him do it so often.

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Don't forget to hang up the cardigan your mom made you too.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

Man... I wish.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I too take my shoes off inside, BECAUSE ITS DISGUSTING TO WEAR SHOES INSIDE

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

No I mean I sit down and untie them and all that jazz.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i think "disgusting" may be a bit of a stretch

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The good Samaritan in Baby Driver had a friggin' select fire MP5K tucked into his passenger seat! He was pissed they beat him to the heist

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

he was probably private security. not a "good Samaritan"

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What bank has private security? They already had others. And in the news report they say he was a bystander.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I missed that part. I've worked at three banks in areas where there were a rash of robberies, they all hired the same company to basically>

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Makes sense.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

>have one or two guys sit out there in his truck in plain clothes with an m4 in case anyone showed up to rob the joint.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He also looked to be a middle class, African American Marine vet in a really big truck. I was very confused.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Right?! Had he pulled a pistol and went ham I would have been all for it. MP5K made me go hhhhhhhmmmmm?!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Right? At first I was like this guy is just trying to help after people got killed. Then he went full terminator.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

the impression I got was that he was plainclothes private security

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ever seen a plain clothes anyone with a select fire MP5K that wasn't secret service or a criminal? Me neither.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

MP7 is way more normal for private security. Source: Seen rich people guards.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

an mp5? no. an m4, yes.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yup. M4/AR for sure. The MP5 was just super fishy.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0
