If there is a wad of chewed gum sealing a vital spot this would be spot on for rocket pack from The Rocketeer.

It’s going to be a shame when his self fabricated steering assembly fails on the highway while he’s going 75 and he takes out some soccer mom’s mini van and kills 3 kids.

I figured Florida but doesn’t look like a Florida plate.

Some people never get over hotwheels

I'm sure that it varies by state, but realistically as long as it has headlights and blinkers, it's street legal.

In states like MT and WY, you could drive a four wheeler down the main road, wearing a helmet or not, as long as it has headlights and blinkers.

Missed opportunity to make it look like a cloud car from Bespin

Reminds me of a cartoon from the late 50's/early 60's, "The Car that's All Tail Fin!"

How do people afford to be able to do this?

The lack of rear view mirrors bugs me

Yes! They are!

He said “25 years building that” so many times I was waiting for someone to plow into it when he pulled out…lol

When the DMV clerk asks for the "make and model" what does he tell them?

"Yes."

A while ago I wanted to get more mechanically savvy and I was looking into "build a bike" kits, and there's a way to register your newly made bike and receive a serial number and etc.

However, between the time I looked, the price for a kit went from around 4k for a 250hp cruiser to like 28k because no one made the kits anymore and they were all custom, so .. .none for me.

I think most states do this as an “assembled vehicle” https://www.txdmv.gov/motorists/assembled-vehicles

if this was pod racing, wouldn't there be a spot in the middle for a driver?

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Jay Leno would love to see that up close.

He can see deez nuts up close too

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You're probably correct but Leno is kind of a POS, especially after all the bullshit he did to Conan.

Somewhere there’s a Batman wondering where his cars at?!

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean looks great and build took long time but I would not drive that around in streets. Specially not in usa. Looks death trap.

now this is pod racing

fuck beat me to it.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's just racing a car with extra steps

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm pretty sure the inspiration can be found on Bespin not Tattooine. Looks more like the Twin-pod cloud car than a pod racer.

25 years well spent, I would say.

Nice!

It would be insanely dangerous to get road head in this vehicle.

WTF that thing is the balls!

"Barely"?

I want to see it brake in a curve... And how many rollovers it does.

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Not as many as you would think. A design like this with a heavy and low, middle centre mass would not achieve enough spin force to flip more than once or twice, either end over end, or side over side, not like first or second generation suvs, where the centre of mass is so high, all they wanna do is flip.

Isn't sideview mirrors necessary?

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

28 of the 50 states as well as Washington DC have no requirement for mirrors at all. The other 22 require either one or two mirrors. https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/8iidup/is_it_legal_to_have_no_mirrors_on_your_bike_in

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Driving in DC is crazy enough, but without side mirrors?! Is it for diplomats that don't use them at home?

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cool... I mean that feels dangerous.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wait till you find out how few states require helmets...

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0
