Decided to start losing weight, this is my first week of meal prep. What do you guys think? I’m new to this so any suggestions from you healthy imgurians would be appreciated. Food is grilled chicken breast/salmon, vegetable medley and brown rice with veggies.

Try quinoa instead of white rice to up your fiber and protein. You'll still satisfy the carb crave. Like the amount of summer squash! Yum!

it looks pretty good. look up spicy garloc lime chicken. so you can change it up and maybe itll make it easier to stick to the plan :)

Lose the rice replace with more veggies. Stick to lean ground turkey and skinless chicken breasts. Use less butters or oils. Less cheeses.

Eat breakfast! It's so important and you can meal prep for breakfast also, so you can grab and go.

If possible, cut the rice so you only have carbs for one meal. Avoid carrots, corn and potatoes, they're full of calories. Also, seasoning.

Seasoning makes the chicken and fish last much much longer.

This. The easiest way is calorie counting. Eat less = less caloric intake. Workout a bit. Burn more than you take in and boom, you lose lbs.

Too many carbs. You need to cut your starches, sugars and grains.

I count 4 meals. There is so much more that is unaccounted for. How active r u? Going 4 days no carb and 3 carb days will really help.

Thanks, will do. I eat fruit throughout the day, basically try to eat a snack every 2-3 hours. Eat a protein/ spinach shake every morning.

For exercise I’m started doing cardio for right now 30 min a day... will increase as my body stops hurting lol
