Got a surprise Christmas present today!
Got in the car this morning and my husband left a gift for me and inside was a bunch of dog supplies. He took me to our local rescue and we saw Bea there! We fell in love immediately and decided to take her home.
The minute we got in the car she was a totally different dog! Her previous family had to surrender her just days before we got her because they where being evicted. She was obviously loved though! So far she's great on a leash sits and lays down on command and gives paw!
Her face when we took her to pet supermarket for the first time! Our good girl did so awesome with all the other dogs and the random people and kids petting her!
Got her home and set up her stuff... in 15 minutes she was passed out next to me on our couch. #imnotcryingyourecrying
I got up to eat and decided she was a little stinky so I gave her a very quick bath... she wasn't too happy about it. She kept looking at me like this wanting to go on the couch but she knew she was wet hahah poor thing
Now we're all dry and happy snuggling with momma waiting for daddy to get home! Thanks for the best Christmas ever babe! I love this girly so far ????

Me too asked and they said that they had a couple there but only because they where not friendly/adoptable so they kept them at the shelter.

Sadly no... Sad because I could tell by how well she was taken care of that they loved her I was worried they might change their mind and1/2

As someone who worked at a rescue, we never gave back animals to someone who had abandoned them. Just doesn't work that way.

I don't think they would. I think they would just be extremely happy to know she's in a loving home that can give her the life they couldn't
