Now THAT is how you load a UPS truck!

Dec 20, 2016 11:09 PM

I got your Christmas Present right here!

That's only 1 tier. Do that for the whole trailer, while maintaining 750pph and a 1/30,000 misload rate.

First delivery - mouse pad you threw in first

As a delivery driver, it makes me salivate.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And they said all those years of Tetris were a waste of time.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No wonder it always takes so long to get a freaking package...

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

All well and good, but then how do you know which package is for which place without tearing it apart and looking at them?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There should be three level shelves...

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

M8 come work as a gig roadie. Same shit excpet everythings between 100kg to 2 tonn

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Years and years of tetris have served me well.

Your authority is not recognized in Fort Kickass

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As a loader of said trucks I applaud unless its a fake wall then I'll buy you a drink or two

I worked at walmart as an unloader when i was 18, and 5/7 times when i would move one piece of merch, some other shit would fall.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

One time these 20 outdoor chairs were at a weird angle and fell on my midsection and made me tear an ab muscle. Walmart didnt do anything.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Shipping manager for 11 years.....never seen a load that nice....how much time wasted?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Class A wall

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Looks like the wall I built around my heart

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's why my SS gift still has yet to arrive...

Someone make the shadow dance!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Tetris or legos?

9 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

Legos, or else they would've all disappeared.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

work harder you monkeys.... stock holders need more money

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

When I stack trucks or planes, I hum the Tetris theme for extra stacking power

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Worked as a driver for 5 years. I never saw a truck that didn't just look like a tornado touched down inside of it.

9 years ago | Likes 70 Dislikes 0

Tornado aftermath is always welcome compared to this stupidity. Almost Guaranteed that 30~40% of that crap on top is heavy as hell.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why so many double negatives god damn you

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah it's called "Throw it in the back Thursday" and "Fist Fuck Friday"

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Was that before or after you got done driving?

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

My truck looked pretty good this morning. So bummed when I dumped my load before 2000

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Of its before. On one hand I feel bad for loaders. On the other hand, they're fucktards.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

It all starts with dispatch. Used to be an OMS and spent the whole day putting out their fires.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Only those who have worked at UPS know what it really looks behind those boxes. It looks like your threw everything in the closet. We know.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Ding ding ding!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Build a wall and then throw all of the rest of the packages over and behind said wall.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Great! Now do it 15000 more times without a break. Source: Im a UPS Supervisor

9 years ago | Likes 446 Dislikes 5

Unsustainable.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your first stop is one of the larger boxes on the bottom, or is located on the second row.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Where's your load stand? - Full time supervisor

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Too lazy to post anything, but UPS supervisor. Many people are prob wondering why the heck the post didn't show up.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I hope you tell your staff how awesome they are. I'm always amazed by how friendly and hard working the UPS drivers are.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

I am a PT that does workman comp. I know exactly what all of these things are and how to get hurt from it. Fun.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh good, it's bad in every hub

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I work in ecommerce. It's hell right now. Kill me.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Let's see you do it.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I did it for 4 years before i decided to go supervisor. its really not as hard as it looks if u care.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Used to work for Purolator and I agree with this statement.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was a Preload sup for 7 years. I prided myself on being able to do the job just as well, or better, than my guys.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a FedEx man. Pretty sure it's one layer of t stacking and the rest of the truck is just thrown in there

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Agreed, I see lots of column loading here, and only one proper shelf across. Build it like a brick house or its going to crush in transport.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was a sorter back in college. I've never forgotten those zip codes, never

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I worked the airbelt. I hated those ULDs that were only 5' tall. :\

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Also a UPS supervisor. That is nice load quality. But I have yet to see any feeder loaded that well.

9 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

I'd like to see what the other walls look like.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yea and how did you get your phone in there? You should have had that taken by security.

9 years ago | Likes 112 Dislikes 1

Watch out for the high security world of package delivery.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The one I work at has property passes so u can bring in certain items like phones, radios, laptops etc

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I put mine in my wallet when they checked

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Ex boyfriend was a fedex driver, they go through security, not the TSA. They can keep their devices.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I also worked for Fedex, this guy is a loader not a driver. I was a loader. They are not allowed to have phones, if caught you were fired.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

why?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Theft. Probably also taking photos. Another measure of control for the working class. Any or all of those reasons.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Um I worked at ups you Can have phones.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Depends on the building. The extended center I'm at now is open, but Atlanta is full security. Only management/drivers can bring in phones.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I guess it depends on risk and theft. Bigger the city worse it is I guess.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Kids impulsively dick with their phones so some places just nip it in the bud and ban it on the floor. First day final warning and all that.
