So, the CVS near my house has only one place to dispose of cigarettes outside the building.

See that hump on top the bin with the hole in it? Just put your burning cigarette in the hole.

The bin is conveniently located right next to the only place they keep propane tanks...you know, with propane inside.

And Archer to explain why this may or may not be a good thing...

F*bleep*K YEA I WANT EXPLOSIONS!!!

It's crazy how a cigarette butt could theoretically ignite a metallically-enclosed source of combustion from several feet away!

I want explosions. I mean... Who doesn't?

How the fuck would anything explode in this scenario?

I worked at and seen so many places that have their smoking areas next to those propane exchangers. Ppl keep telling me it's okay... F that!

Not a movie. Nothing is going to explode here.

Stay away from those juice boxes.

It's just an aggressive anti-smokers policy. Nothing to worry about.

lit cigarettes cant even light spilled gasoline on fire. I doubt it's that risky. But it's not very tasteful, i give you that

when you grind them to put them out they spark

Unless they all have a big leak you went get any explosion.

I work around those tanks. They leak all the fucking time.

Perhaps, but still the irony of a cage full of propane tanks with a "no smoking" next to a n ash tray is a bit much

Ash tray is ment to put the cigarette butts in after they are out. No need to smoke next to them.

Lol, if the cig butt is already out, why not put it straight in the bin. No need for a tray. Not sure you quite get it.

If it's not out then you are smoking by a public building and should be fined anyways.

You don't smoke do you?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

No but you shouldn't be smoking that close to a public building anyways. There is a law against it now.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

And the law in my state says you can't smoke within so many feet of the buildings entrance, which this bin does not violate.

Depending on where you live, that may be true. CVS isn't a public building though, it'd be private property.

Point is, they put a repository for burning cigarette butts next to a cage that they clearly suggest you shouldn't smoke next to.
