your temps are too high or you have pressure from the extruder from the previous print

It's on its period

Hang in there buddy.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think your printer is trying to tell you something.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's a female printer. Happens once per month. Pull out and dispose.

Kill yourself - your printer probably

It just means "HANG on while the printer warms up."

Skynet has come to life - RUN!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Might be too hot. Scale back on the temp a little. A little oozing in the beginning is normal but that is a lot.

... skynet so it begins.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm ashamed to admit that my first thought was "what the fuck kind of ink is that?" Before realising I forgot about 3D printers

8 years ago | Likes 115 Dislikes 3

me too, and i spent minutes wondering how ink could do that.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ohhhhhh. I was sitting here like, "Why is it oozing when it warms up? Where is that even coming from?" so you're in good company.

Wanted to share my interest in knots, started with a noose(A cool knot)downvoted to hell for promoting suicide, it has other uses

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

i only know how to do the knot where you make a circle, put one end in, and pull both ends

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you have tutorials on how to make knots? I suck at all except slipknots, and would like to at least learn a more useful one

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nope, wanted to start a series, but the backlash from the noose killed it,if youre gonna learn a knot, start with a bowline, simple safety knot

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Will do, thank you!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Knots are so useful. I'm sorry you got backlash from something you can get use out of. Or to just have fun with.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sounds like that printer is a nooseance.

You dumb. +1

If his 3d printer was haunted by a ghost, that'd be doubly the case. nooSeance.

8 years ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 0

Has it been hanging out with you too much and hates you now? Has it been pulling your strings and making you dance at the end of the line?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also you see how it’s dragging of to the side right after starting to print that means the head has material stuck inside it

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That hotend makes me sad. I've broken two E3DV6's already. My printer's inductive sensor screwed up on both occasions and it kept going down

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How'd they fail? We're they clamped too hard in the heat block?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

nah the auto bed level sensor failed and the hotend z motors just kept pushing the nozzle down on the bed, bending the heat break.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Jeez, those are some extreme strong stepper motors! A heat break is narrow and easy to mess up but not with the force a stepper has.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, it happened :/ It bent slightly & I tried bending it back in shape but it snapped :( Don't forget this happened twice haha

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yea, once a heat break bends, don't try to bend it back. It helps to keep a few spare parts around like heat breaks, thermistors, & nozzles.

if it prints a Ouija board on its own then you should start to worry

8 years ago | Likes 236 Dislikes 1

A Luigi board?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Use the board to ask it what its fucking problem is

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Be right back. Pitching idea to SyFy.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

as long as I get a cut of the profits!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's ok, you can probably just burn it, right?

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Gotta get a fire real hot, but you can burn plastic

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If it’s an Anet brand printer, it’ll just burn itself down anyways

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I made an Anet A8, main board burned out almost instantly. Replaced it, never had a problem again haha

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nononononono, you melt the Ouija board in boiling plasma, trust me, I'm a demonologist

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

But how do you boil a plasma?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't question it I'm a professional
