Been a doctor for 6 months and all patients still alive!

Sorry for the selfie. I have been a doctor for 6 months now and work at a local clinic. I have been hugged, thanked and I have had patients cry out of happiness when coming to see me because they are so grateful for what we working in healthcare have done for them. Sometimes my job sucks, sometimes you have to tell someone terrible news, but every day you get to have an impact on someone's life. Maybe help someone get out of a severe depression. Maybe give someone a few extra years to spend with their loved ones. I just wanted to say thank you to all my colleagues, nurses, doctors or whatever you may be. Keep up the good work, you DO make a difference.
