Steam sake used to be good, now it’s a a shitty “your deals” thing.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Thats the 'good' thing about spending big in the previous years sale - hardly anything worth buying anymore that I dont already have.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Steam is the digital equivalent of a Middle Eastern Bazaar. "Very good games! Very cheap!"

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Why....Why don't you just not buy the game? I buy maybe 3 games each seasonal sale. Why? Because I want those and only those.

When

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

oh.. oh no. I'd forgotten.

http://gabegaming.com/ For those who want the good stuff

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Steam got greedy. It's usually cheaper to buy anywhere BUT steam.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dont have money, fuck

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

thank god, im poor af

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

May I suggest miscreated.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

ya'll might have a problem with buying cheap games!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#1 has been kind of feeble lately with its shovelware sickness. It's all like "15% off? $10?" I'm like "naw."

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Looking forward to this, actually. Minecraft Story Mode Season 2, here I come!

My job had 20% off Steam cards with our partner card, needless to say I got some in preparation.

ARE YOU READY FOR A MIRACLE

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Praise lord Gaben!

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

Steam sales have sucked ass for the last couple years

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 3

steam sales are like reverse piracy, you spend money for games that you will never use.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yes. Then you unboard their boat, restore everybody's property to the rightful owners, and regain sight in one eye.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

b-but what about my index eye? I'm great with my pinky eye not coming back, but why not the other eye?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm ready for a miracle

Best one

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The computer in #3 is a Mac...

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Bootcamp.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Could be a hackintosh like mine - high end components installed into modified Mac shell!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mac Pro though, so at least it supports decent graphics cards for when you boot it into Windows to game.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My Steam folder is over 1 TB at this point... *rolls to resist Steam sale*

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Your lucky, mines close to 2TB, and got deleted, spending a month downloading the games again.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ouch. I'd probably only download some of my games if that happened...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm currently downloading just the ones i play regularly, Plus a few i recently got free from Humble Bundle and want to play. nearly 1tb!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Meh. The sales just aren't as tempting as they used to be.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 4

I agree, no more events, dailys, or flash sales

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Returns and companies getting smart (aka not just fire-selling everything) have neutered the sales. Still hyped, just no binge spending.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It's not the games companies doing the sale price (usually), i remember a dev saying 'thanks for not telling us steam for the sale'.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That seems odd to me but it might just be Steam being more saavy about the optimal price points to maximize revenue.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Based on the number of unplayed games in my steam library, I suspect their optimal price point is quite a bit lower than it currently is.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What is this fuckery? I never wou- points out steam library with over 50 games i played all of 5 min of each* okay you have made your point

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Add a zero and you have my library of unplayed games.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Only 50 games with 5 mins? Ha i have 50 games that still tell me the purchase date under time played.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

But those sweet sweet trading cards. You need to idle.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just 50 games? (I may have a serious problem)

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Just tell us how many zeros are behind that first number

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2 digits. I've been trying to be good...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is always fun https://steamdb.info/calculator/

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It could be faaaaar worse, that's for certain.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm fairly close to ****. But I really don't need that in my life.
