Yup. At my work servers get starting pay of $3.75 hourly. After a few years they might make $4.50. All their income is from tips

I was paid $2.13/hour as a server, tips are what we live on. When you bust your ass all night and only end up getting bad tippers it hurts

It is legal in the states. If you dont get any tips than the company must pay the rest to make sure you get min wage.Its fucked up and legal

For servers it is legal.I live in TN, Google server wages state by state.pretty messed up.They can even raise min wage but not raise servers
