Tesla Model X

Faster than "the fastest SUV in the world" (cringe)

Faster than an Alfa Romeo4C

Faster than a 4C, while pulling a trailer carrying another 4C.

Let's have a race from 0 to 300 miles and see who wins.

Quarter mile isn't everything, it still flips over on a track

I saw a ricer trying to race a mom in her tesla, he got smoked by her.

It still lacks the thump of a big v8, big cam and lots of compression.. Without the sound, its just .. Meh..

Bitch please, they can't outdo the velociraptor SUV. And it's armored, has an office, and looks badass as fuck.

it has great acceleration because it's max torque is at the low end (electric motor). It's top speed on the other hand is lower than the 4C

About 30.

It's the last Head2Head, MotorTrendChannel on Youtube

But have they gone plaid??

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dont care. Range trumps speed for EV. What is the remaining range after those dragraces?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Who the hell buys an suv to drive fast.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd drive a minivan to drive fast, especially if it could beat most production run cars in a 1/4 mile. Plus, minivans rarely get pulled over

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That has to be at least 30!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't think it's faster however it does have incredible acceleration while the others probably have a higher top speed and are thus faster

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Faster than an srt8 Cherokee... really doubt it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

Top speed no. But quicker yes. It accelerates quicker in the 1/4 mile but would lose shortly afterwards.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, in the first gif it beat the the bentley SUV, which is faster than the SRT cherokee

I meant the hellcat version and no it is not faster than the jeep.

Electric motor is Huge acceleration advantage.

Like my torque curves the opposite of my women.

@AngloAmerican : Not giving much room for comedic participation are ya... Luduhthis!

I think you missed the joke

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So did you.

Faster up to a point, then gets walked on by the other's higher top speed.

Just a design thing though. Currently limited to 250kph (155mph in freedom units)

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

FREEEEEEEEEDOM

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Limited by laws of physics. Hp dropoff after 180-200kph is significant. Motor is reaching top speed

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

For sure, but I live in a city so the 1/4 time is the best reflection of all the fun I'd ever have in it. If I lived in AZ or somethin'.

I'd like to know how many 1/4 mile runs that can get before the battery is dead.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I think it can drive 500km before running out of power

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's "normal" driving. How many full-on quarters can it run & still drive home?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

about 5/7

Well played

Why do you feel the need to protect the honor of combustion engines?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Because electrics still have a long way to go to equal them, especially for simple practicality.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

How is not having to find a gas station for practicality? I'm looking forward to charging at home.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because, ATM, there are gas stations EVERYWHERE, and fueling takes only a few minutes.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Why do you think this? Electric motors seem superior in basically ever way.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Except the most important: practicality. This is where IC holds its edge, as it's been the standard for a hundred years.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But why do you think electric motors are not practical?
