Hey there. I'm just a guy who loves my country that's terrified about it's current direction and completely underwhelmed by the apathy I see in my fellow citizens.
If we the people don't find some fire in our hearts and spines we are going to guarantee a conflict. I am doing everything in my power to be a speed bump to autocracy and I'm hoping a video like this will inspire other to have hard conversations with our friends and family that have decided to ignore the suffering of others and the degradation of our freedoms. Americans we need to act.

Spent over an hour the other night trying talk to my mom about all of it and she’ll say things about the republicans and ill be like give me a specific example and her reply “Well I don’t dig into it that much” THEN YOU DONT ACTUALLY FUCKING KNOW ANYTHING!!!! 🤯🤯 more concerned about kids being taught having two mommies/daddies is ok 🤦♀️🤦♀️🥺

Man I wish I had your fire, I’ve always fought so hard for people of all walks of life and all colors. Unfortunately these days I feel the apathy rise up and make me feel numb to the world. I’ve tried to reason with trumpers or explain to them the obvious scam in front of them and all I ever get is hate in return. I was being a bit dramatic, but I DO think this is probably one of the best opportunities in our lifetimes to put effort towards lasting change. The evil, greedy dipshits are walking around with their dicks hanging out for everyone to see, and the majority of people are really grossed out. Providing some contrast to that is going to be damn effective.

I know of some pretty steadfast Republicans who are now getting very quiet. It’s ok to have made a mistake, everyone does it from time to time. But it’s ALREADY past time to admit the error and work to change it. This is more like authoritarians masquerading as republicans, no political party would work to profit themselves by dismantling its own infrastructure like this. I would like to add my self to the speedbump club. I just don’t know where to start. Honestly, I’m not big on protesting. I get that it feels good to march with like minded folks but I don’t think it has much impact. I’m interested in finding out where to go to learn how to talk sensible people back to reality. And how to “ reason “ with unreasonable people.

I'm not big on protesting either, but it'll make the folks who are feel better if you show up. And you might meet some good folks and get some ideas. When you can't do EVERYTHING, do SOMETHING. I'll be out on Saturday wearing my orange vest and my hard hat--it'll send a message. (Also it's decent armor in a street fight.)
