Say what you will about Kenneth Branagh but his Shakespeare is the best. Also, first scene is a bunch of naked men bouncing in the bath house

What is this I'm feeling. I don't know where to look. My eyes are jumping from one pixel to the next.

I liked Whedon's. Fast, funny and very contemporary.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

saw that in theatre on one of my first dates ever. (sigh)

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Is that the new Solo movie?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

One of my favorites! These two play half-brothers. Emma Thompson is fantastic, Brannagh is a hoot. Love it.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Nice. Some properly male eye-candy for a Thursday morning while I have my coffee. Thanks, OP!

I wanna be the ham in that sandwich!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They are both so hot in those clothes!

This movie was amazing, it really got me into Shakespeare afterwards

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

When men in tights was a fashion statement of that year.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hey, nonny nonny indeed.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That movie is fantastic. Michael Keaton ftw.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So, it is supposed to take place in Spain in the 1920; yet, no one is being murdered.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Loved this movie. Watched it in my senior literature class in high school. Must watch again!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

seeing a young kate beckinsale is awesome. she is gorgeous.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

...and what about Michael Keaton "I am... an ass."

8 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

And though it be not writ, remember, that I am an ass.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Hey Nonny Nonny!!!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I love this movie. Kenneth Branagh? Micheal Keaton, Kate beckinsale...of course Keanu. Good stuff

Henry V and this film make a great evening's viewing

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Branagh's Henry V is outstanding. Every year on October 25, I strip my sleeves and say, "These wounds I had on Crispin's Day." This story..

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

...shall the good man teach his son; And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by, From this day to the ending of the world, But we in it shall...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

...be remember'd; We few, we happy few, we band of brothers." Gives me goosebumps every time, even just typing it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This was a bad role for Keanu, he is just not meant to play a sourpuss.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Worse than Harker in Bram Stoker's Dracula? I adore Keanu but he had some bad roles back in the day.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I love emma thompson and kenneth branagh in this too. Such a great movie!

I fucking KNEW this was the top comment.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not to get you more steamy, but the opening credits scene is one of many male leads bathing. I'll leave you to your DVD now.

HA!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Said at a knifes point.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I really liked that movie! only one I remember seeing Keanu and Denzel together.

8 years ago | Likes 112 Dislikes 4

It does seem like an odd combination, they definitely aren't two actors I'd have expected to see together.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

the Equalizer and John Wick together vs all? I think they would match quite good

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Which movie

Dude Where's My Car 2

title/year in title ;)

8 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 1

That's the name lol... I thought that was just some weird title.. My apologies

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 4

Same lol

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Michael Keaton’s performance as the sheriff was brilliant. Must now purchase.

8 years ago | Likes 224 Dislikes 0

I quite like Nathan Fillian's portrayal in Joss Whedon's version who plays Dogberry like a CSI Miami character slowly realising he's useless

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I played dogberry in a production of this show, probably one of my favorite roles of all time

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I am an ass! :)

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Take note that he did call me an ass

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

“Remember I am an ass!”

8 years ago | Likes 0 Dislikes 0

But masters, remember that. I am an ass, though it be not written down, yet forget not that I am an ass!

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Let the record show that I am an ass.

Fantastic movie, I especially liked Branagh's performance. Keanu was... not great. But the rest of it was!

8 years ago | Likes 72 Dislikes 4

Keanu was the perfect wooden boy.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Disagree. He was actually quite good. Surprisingly.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

I'm loving the different interpretations. Seems like people either loved it or hated it. Interesting!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Keanu did quite well IMO.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I remember hearing that he wanted a different part and wanted the movie to tank. Which fits the character, really.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I always thought he was fine. Don John is a very basic character. He's evil, he knows it, and he openly declares it. Not a lot of nuance.

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 1

I agree the character is simple, but he seemed really uncomfortable and awkward in the role. Especially compared to the rest of the cast.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

His performance always reminded me of watching teens perform Shakespeare, where you can tell they don't understand the dialogue

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I agree. He was incredibly wooden in his performance. He didn't act evil -- he seemed bored.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That's what I thought as well.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

On the list to watch tonight

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

I personally hated Keanu's acting in this. He needed some time to develop his acting and he just wasn't good in this imho

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I thought the wooden acting was hilarious. Idk if intentional but compared to all the exaggerated Shakespearan...well everything it was nice

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

PS this is my favorite Shakespeare story/film

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Keanu was about 25 years too early to play Billy Russo in The Punisher. Which is a shame.

8 years ago | Likes 671 Dislikes 2

What you mean? Keanu is at least 200 years old

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or Terry McGuinness in Batman Beyond.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm not sure what you mean. The Punisher came out in 1989.

Gave a new actor a chance

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not that he would look too much different

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What are you on about? He is exactly the same as he was 25 years ago!

8 years ago | Likes 81 Dislikes 1

*250

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I liked the actor who did it though

8 years ago | Likes 228 Dislikes 2

Agreed. Great show and great choice for the actor.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

God he was so good. That whole show was flawless

8 years ago | Likes 72 Dislikes 5

I wouldn't say flawless, but it was really good.

8 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 5

I agree. Last episode season 1 got a bit weird with the antagonist all of a sudden turning pure evil

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Ben Barnes was fucking spectacular.

8 years ago | Likes 86 Dislikes 1

He’s immortal just like Keanu

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mind blown when I put Billy Russo and Prince Caspian together as the same actor. He was good in The Portrait of Dorian Gray as well.

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

What's funny is he is reading The Portrait of Dorian Gray when they have a flashback of him and Frank hanging out

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Really?! That's pretty cool. I never would have caught that.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

10/10 would bang

I feel like John wick vs the punisher wouldn't end well for the surrounding city.

8 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 0

The Punisher did it for his whole family. John Wick did it for a dog and a car. I'd put my money on Wick.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

To be fair it was a gift from a dead wife

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Idk, Punisher outclasses Wick in terms of gear, and they seem mostly evenly matched skill wise. Probably just whoever has surprise .

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Tend to think that Wick not having heavier weaponry isn't a lack of availability. More like a lack of need. Does he need to kill you deader?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah. But how would the fight start?

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

I feel like the Punisher wouldn't be too thrilled about the existence of hired killers.

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

And he would attack John at home with his mountain of fire power resulting the loss of another dog.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

But has Frank ever killed anybody with a. Fucking. Pencil?!

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I feel like castle would protect the dog like he did in daredevil
