Dated a few girls before, for the first time I actually fall in love with someone. My girlfriend or whatever that is loves me very much as well, but she has a new co-worker who is a lesbian. Initially my girl told me she was bi, but that didn't matter to me.
For the past week she has been distant and told we needed space but we need to be talking to each other etc which makes no sense, then later she tells me that she has a co worker that she is very attracted to and that girl made moves on her and my girlfriend has a thing for her.
For the first time in my life I actually fell in love with someone because I have always sheltered my emotions knowing that some shit like that might happen, and when I finally open up, it really does happen.
I'm so lost I haven't slept in the past 3 days. My girlfriend is like I need to evaluate and see what I really want, do I want to stay with you or leave you essentially, and that is heartbreaking. Usually I wouldn't put up with any bullshit like that, but I guess love is blind and stupid.

Gotta either poly down or quit it. Good luck @OP

Do yourself a favor and rip that band-aid off, cut all ties/connections. Work on numero uno.

I hate when this happens. Exercising helps a little
azzurrivincitore13
Yo dump that cheating ho
CaptainPajamas
At least go for the parting threesome...
spannnumber72
Sorry OP. That's rough
RufustheMad
Get everyone involved together and talk about it. If the GF wants to play, let her play, but make sure everyone knows she comes back after.
Thneitis
I know how it feels... happened to me with my ex... it's not the best idea to go whore around just an FYI

Drop that bitch like an orbital tungsten rod
JustAnotherLinkInTheChain
Dump her ass and move on. Infidelity has no place in a relationship
flummoxed0709
Do you two live together?
CommentMalone
Fell in love with a girl. I fell in love once and almost completely.
deepbullet
Maybe if you tell her you "identify as a woman" now she'll come back and be a lesbian with you, OP...
Heartomaton
Better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all, mate. You do not want to be in this boat with me.

Am I the only person on the planet that considers people in relationships to be off limits?
TJay7481
She fell in love once, and it was completely

No matter how hard it may be don't go back to her, it never works out. The odds aren't in your favour and you won't forget about this moment
coverdale
other then you?
Nujako
If she gets the choice and doesn't immediately pick you, then she doesn't love you as much as you do her. It sucks bro but I would break off

I'm not sure why this is a Confession Bear. You've done nothing wrong, OP. It's normal to feel sad, but don't blame yourself.

Aw, that sucks OP, you'll find another one, get well soon <3
TheKod
Thanks, Recovery is going to suck.
Squirtintotheoldies
Breaking up sucks but it's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all or maybe I just say that to make myself feel better

If she's "evaluating" then just end it. Don't prolong your pain just to be her backup option. Plus this will just happen again later.
TheKod
Honestly Im really considering that. I feel like this shit might come up again down the road
Whitetiger7654
Not might. Will. I'll guarantee it like the Men's Warehouse guy.
