I am once again questioning an animal video if it's AI; although I think it's real. Not because of the Basilisk Lizard's water running abilities - I've seen 20yo nature documentaries showing that. But because it's such a coincidentally captured moment... I can't put my figure on it rewatched it; but one thing stands out: the lizard doesn't leave wet marks on the concrete, not even when he runs straight up out of the canal.

I recall a nature documentary that people would have to run at about 70mph on still water to accomplish the same feat.

When the basilica lizard splashes water, it creates an air pocket, taking 20 steps per second.

Also known as Jesus Christ lizard, for obvious reasons.

No. What's obvious about it?
cousteau
It walks on water.
Magnar1183
No it doesn't. It sprints on water.
cousteau
…walking very very fast?

Bugdaze
Perhaps nor AI but good editing. Plus it's also a crazy water speed walking lizard, how much water do you expect it to retain?
JacktheKind
good point; but it should leave at least a dark print on the like first step on dry, light concrete
Bugdaze
Idk maybe you're right. But I know they can do that.

Yeah, thats why I said that right in my first comment. The ability is not in question.
